Ian,

Does your Stage 2 91 tune require your intake to be installed? Meaning, if only your J-pipe + catback were ordered but leave intake stock (or MAP J-pipe + stock intake + stock catback), would the file work? I'm assuming no since the tune is optimized for additional airflow...

That is correct. You must run our intake with the Stage 2 tune at this time, as it is a 3" system, and the tune is scaled for that.

Hey Ian,

Would your stage 2 package run okay with the Cobb Stage2+BigSF OTS map?

Thanks.

I don't think so. These cars are very picky with intakes. Each systems responds quite differently. I wouldn't risk it.

Have you guys posted up any revisions to the Stage 1 tune? I purchased the Saturday after Christmas and wanted to know if there was another I could download. Thanks!

No sir. You have our most recent revision of the Stage 1, which we are pretty much satisfied at this time.

I want to see if we can also do a full 3" downpipe with 3" 2 bolt exhaust flange for other aftermarket cat back systems.
So any word on this? I'll purchase right now If I can get 3" all the way through with a 2 bolt exhaust flange. Would be nice to have a catless resonated version as well.

I know you said, I have to run your intake. I'm interested in the stage 2 package minus the cat back..

I would like to keep the stock cat back and use your catless j-pipe/down pipe.

Would this be possible to do and still run your stage 2 tune?

Hey Ian,

Any concerns with running this intake exposed like that, that Hydro-lock may occur? Where I live in Michigan we can have a lot of standing water on the roads. Any plan to make an intake cover or box to protect the intake from outside elements?

There are no concerns at all. The filter is completely enclosed by the inner fender and lower under tray. I live in MN, and have been driving it for thousands of miles without any issues.
