Any pictures of them on the car? Debating painted my Oem 18s from my wrx gold.

I'm running them as my winter wheels, so no pics on the car until winter comes. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try though. The two cans of plastidip came out to $20, if you don't like it you just peel it off. Definitely take the wheels off the car before doing it though. The stuff I used is rustoleum peel coat matte gold.

Default Fitted a light bar to my '17 WRX

Fitted a 20inch light bar.
I did the research and bought a good quality unit
Wow.. what a difference! I do a lot of driving at night in the country so the more warning you can get before the 'roos jump out at you the better.

Very pleased with the result. A bit nerve wracking taking the entire front bumper off but with patience, care and the help of a tradie mate we had no real dramas at all
New personalised plates going too, getting rid of the big old ugly standard issue for something slim with white on blac

use imgur.com. make a login, then go to upload. upload your photo but don't select 'publish to imgur' unless you want every 12 year old downvoting your images and saying filthy things about your family members. you can make an album if you want, i just upload each independently. then when it's uploaded, select 'bb code' from the sharing menu and it'll spit out bb/nasioc friendly code.

these are beautiful... i had no idea. i am in awe. i had some weird multi color fogs on my mitsubishi forever ago, but they weren't this jewel-like... this must be what the 'chameleon' overlays try to copy.

would look GREAT on blue. thanks! i may go back to chrome when i can recut new adhesive for it down the line, but it's much better in direct sunlight. i got the wrx on ebay, but made sure it had the good 3m adhesive on them. the subaru/awd ones came from subiebros i think. i think i paid $45 for all the badging? ebay has both for cheaper than subibros or subispeed for what looks like the same parts

Its not fixed to the bumper
There is a significant black plastic moulded piece that bolts to the chassis which in turn the lower section of the bumper is clipped and bolted to.
This plastic is about 25mm thick honey comb type structure about 120mm deep that runs the full width of the car at the front.
I drilled and bolted through this with 8mm bolts with a 6mm aluminium plate underneath to reinforce it.
Brackets were std with the STEDI light bar.
Solid as a rock.
The grill was cut with a thin cut off disc in a grinder and then I trimmed it with some black 12mm PVC irrigation pipe [a bit of a hack but I think it looks good, even up close]
Video on how to remove the bumper for fitting here:

You can see the plastic section I am talking about around the 5:10 mark

Kids, worn out snow tires, 18 mustangs not being available yet, and wanting to look forward to the snow instead of just surviving it.

Compression test and leakdown on my sons "new to us" 04 RS with an 05 full STi swap. He is eating oil (about 600miles/quart of 10w-30), so it looks like rings and ringlands are OK. Turbo seals are next due to no drips.

Son is happy no major SB issues.

Gave the 'ole lady her first real bath by hand to get rid of all the little water spots from the brushless manual wash. Washed up the wheels.

The new wax came in today. Picked up a bottle of the Collinite #845 - will be applying that tomorrow (was worried about the rain today). Hoping for the best with it.
