Woah, how do you get 400 on 91??? I'm lucky if I get 250. Stage 2, like 50/50 city and highway.

It was about 320 of that was highway, so that definitely helped. Plus I said it was roughly 400. I'll fully log it next time to get a more accurate number, but I'm pretty sure it was close to 400 miles. Also, I don't WOT very often. I've learned that leaks seriously KILL MPGs, so i'd see if you have a leak or something, because 250 on regular octane fuel is pretty trash. I'm a nazi about leaks, and check my vacuum daily.

Maybe it was just me but I tested 93 and E85 to Chicago a couple weeks ago. Got 300 miles on a full tank with each doing 0 WOT pulls on the 93 and at least 3-4 WOT pulls on the E85. Could very well be my tune but I liked the E85 cost way better with my results (solely mine of course).

Could be in the tune. I was surprised how long my gas was sticking around. Again, I'll have to check it with the odometer next time to give some accurate number. Regardless, I don't have E85 around me anymore, so I won't be switching no matter the cost difference.

Took some more “”decent”” pictures with new my new wheels. Fell in love with the car all over again. Handles so much better

p.s. if someone tuning savvy could check out my datalogs over at https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...3#post45366403 that would be great. Having some fine knock learn issues I think

sorry brohammer, but they're really not very good pics... needs better lighting, better angles, etc.

how do RPF1s affect the handling? i can see it feeling a little lighter due to the unsprung weight reduction but they really do not change anything about the handling.

consider starting a build thread rather than listing out your wish list in a pic thread.

send your log to your tuner

oh I’m very aware that those pictures suck. Hence the quotation marks around “”decent”” lol

Yep, definitely feels slightly lighter. More nimble around the corners. I think the main difference is the wider tires. Going from 235 to 265 is noticeable.

I don’t have a tuner yet haha. Again, hence my reason for posting here. Making a thread here and waiting a week for someone to reply “clean your maf” would not be my first choice

I vote for tires.

When I initially picked up my car with stock wheels and 235 PSS tires, it drove like crap. No confidence or grip whatsoever.

Put on RPF1s with 255 ZIISS, massive difference.

I actually thought it was the stock suspension that was making it feel bad. I think it is safe to say it was the tires. Really furthers my distaste for PSS.

I'd get protuned. Those OTS maps are crap. If you don't want to get protuned yet, then I'd lay off the pedal. There's really not much you can do.

So far... OTS has been... OK... For me.

But I've been OTS much longer than I initially intended.

If you can't get to a protuner just get a nice Etune from Eric at TorquedPerformance or similar but my vote is Eric @ K1405

Still love my RPF1's I'm on a budget now with the wifey not working as much so I don't see myself trying to upgrade any time soon lol

If you are in the SoCal area, near Anaheim, Phatbotti tuning is the way to go. See Ron

I've been considering a protune at baseline power levels. Just some refinement over the stock tune

I would no question. Even better, iag aos, aftermarket fuel pump, ebcs potentially and a protune. Road tune preferred for your purposes.

Don’t get an etune with all that. You’ll want a protune. Eric’s TP stage 2 tune was garbage on my car. According to my tuner it was a modified Cobb tune. I picked up like 45tq and 30whp just from a protune.

Yes, I've had an aos in mind as well. I'm looking for optimal reliability atm. We'll see if the mod bug bites and I end up with upgraded internals/fuel system lol
