36, 2017 CVT- only aesthetics, except for SPT Catback. Wrapped lip & scoop matte black, clear bra, just swapped my bumper to the 2018, tints, black badges, powder coated calipers, and lastly bought a set of really chewed up split spoke bbs STI wheels, refinished and powder coated glossy black. I love looking at her as much as I love driving her!!

I cannot wait to turn 41!

I'm 31 and a ways from getting a new car. I have to believe that Subaru would cater more to the older crowd if they brought back a sporty LGT. I wonder how many people shop elsewhere, given the boy racer perception of the WRX...I do see some older fellas in WRXs. They're the ones that don't wave.....

I wave lol
I know what you mean, I had a 2010 2.5 LGT limited.
It was awesome, 6 speed.
It was perfect, however things came up and had to let her go.
They can potentially bring it back, who knows.

While I agreed with the decision at the time, certainly offering only a 6MT killed this car.

43 2015 WRX. Running 0-60 in 3.7 sec. 12.1 sec 1/4 mile @ 117 mph. So far have reached 155mph and still had some left. No way Iíd shy away from this model. Old is a frame of mind (but it is getting harder to get up after working underneath all day!!!!)

39 with a 16 sti, did a bunch of driveline and suspension mods and just started the path to more power starting with a stage 1 tune.

48 and just recently picked up a sonic yellow bugeye wagon. Cobb stage II tune and 3" exhaust all the way out. Just ordered some Tokico D Spec struts and debating stock springs vs. 04-07 STI pink wagon springs. Let me know if you have any opinions on the spring choice.

32 with an 04 wagon, it's completely stock currently, except for Legacy oem wheels. Only thing I'll probably do is lower it a bit. Once I rebuild the engine that is...

39 with a 2017 Red STI with the stock wing. It really stands out since I’ve powder coated the wheels white.

What do you like better about the STI vs. the S4/S5?

I may not be who this question was for but Iíll answer based on my experience. (By the way, mine is the 2.0DIT WRX, not the STI).

So the S4 was a true drivers car, finished out and ready to go. It was a very fun car to drive. But that was it. There was nothing out there to really do to it. To me, the WRX is almost a blank canvas when you buy it. Itís screaming to be adapted to ones liking. I have enjoyed tinkering with my WRX immensely. And now I have it where I would put it up against my S4 in a heartbeat. And my S4 was the big V8 model while my WRX is a 2 liter 4 cyl.

Good stuff.

Thatís exactly what Iím talking about , donít get me wrong the wrx is a great car.I had a 15 putting down 340 hp to the wheels a lot of fun but I wanted more power it becomes an addiction . The sti has a stronger trani And rear differential plus I always wanted one .

Iíd have to disagree a bit there. Not about the parts behind the engine, but I think the dit engine in the WRX is plenty. Iím running 12.1 in 1/4 mike at 117 mph and 0-60 in 3.7 with Bolt ons. Have no idea what top speed is. I know itís above 167. Yes, I do wish I had the STI tranny and suspension, only because I fear Iíll wear mine out, not because Iím lacking. But I donít wish I had the 2.5l.

Just got a new [18] WRX, love it. I'm 68 years young, had lots of hotrods but nothing like this before. It's the combination of things this car will do that is amazing, it's fast, handles great, has all wheel drive and will get 28 MPG. I'm still getting used to the clutch, it's in or out, not much feel really. Love the 6 speed, just a hell of a car .
