Default Awful People?

I just got to my car after having it sit outside for a week and saw McDonald's dipping sauce all over it, luckily most was on snow, but some was on the body. Now I'm worried that those douche bags did something else out of spite/jealousy. Anyone else have these issues?

About 12 years ago I drove my mustang convertible to a friend's house with the top down. Had a bit too much to drink and slept there.

Woke up in the morning, went out to my car and found dish soap (or something soapy, anyways) sprayed all throughout my interior.

Luckily, a little scrubbing and it all came out. But I learned my lesson about leaving the top down/windows open on my cars.

Moral of the story, the world is a endless stream of ********. Expect no less and plan accordingly when possible.

Last year I came out of the grocery store to find someone had hit my brand new WRX and simply left. I park far away now but still come out to find someone parked next to it. People are anal portals and nothing can change that.

Sorry to hear that happened to you, give it a good hand wash and inspect it as you go to see if it was key'd, dented, etc. That's when I always notice little flaws and imperfections, when I'm cleaning the car. Hope the sauce didn't cause any issues with your paint...

Yea, it looks like it's fine. I just want to know what went on in this person's mind to do such a thing. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but it still doesn't justify messing with other's property.

Itís simple. Imagine a bell curve. Now imagine your average mouth breathing human being. Now realize that half the population is dumber than they are...

Cry in a corner.

People are by and large garbage. A person is ok though.

Sorry someone had no respect.
Yes, I would also be pissed.

Why is this in general, not Subaru related (overall), better in OT.

Picked my dad up for lunch on Saturday only to come out of the house and found someone had hit the front of his truck (has to park on the street).

No note, nothing. ********...

There are envious people everywhere. And there is a reason why they struggle to have nice things because they spend most of their time envying in stead of making themselves better people.

I shudder to think of OP moving to New York City or Boston and having to walk down the street if a McDonald's packet on his car was too rough.

I once had some kids throw full beer bottles/can at my house and car. Suburbs, safe place. 2am, I hear some loud bangs from the garage. Go out to inside of garage, no issues. Look outside and see glass and liquid on the driveway and garage door.

Outside, I see a car coming down the hill (dead end street) super slowly, about 6 kids piled in the car. I walk out and stop the car with the kids looking at my eyes wide open.

Here's the kicker, a cop is now driving up the street coming at them. I try flagging him down, but need to move to get his attention. He stops, but the kids drive offroad into my neighbors yard and hammer it down the hill.

Cop gets out and asks me what's wrong, so I hold up a beer can and say that car full of kids are throwing beer bottles and cans at people's houses and cars. He says he's coming up the street looking for kids and a tan sedan.... which is the only car that just passed him. Apparently a neighbor called the cops already. Great, you just let them go.

Here's the super ****ty part - there's also a cop car at the top of the hill closing the gate to the park. This guy didn't know at all about the call in apparently and was just doing his 2am gate closure. Basically, the kids were boxed in on a dead end street and STILL got away.

Took at look at my modified OBS and the bottle broken in front of it. Looks like the bottle impacted the ground first, then hit the car square in the glass headlight... and only the bottle broke. There wasn't a scratch on the car and only beer.

Cops too a report and said to call if I was going to file with insurance.

Took a walk up the street the next morning. Kids were underage drinking at the top of our hill apparently. They left receipts (with card card numbers), half a case of beer. Called cops saying I had receipts and could get names easily of the kids. They didn't want anything to do with it and said it's nothing they could hold the kids to.

I saw the kids go back up there time and time again, always seeming to meet someone and leave in 5-10 minutes. Found out they were also dealing weed there. 16 year olds it looked like.

Sidenote: I took the half a case of beer for my troubles of cleaning up the broken glass.

I used to live on a dead end street (last house, on a hill). It was a favorite "necking spot".
We had an old metal garbage can. When we heard "parkers", we would put the can behind the car. When they went to leave, they used to just go to neutral and roll back, but that made them back over the can.
Then they HAD to start the car and pull forward.....both directions making huge noise from the garbage can.
Yes, it was fun.

Use your special brain. Imagine. Could it be the kind of kids who would eat at McDonalds and have leftover dipping sauce ?

It is a good thing they didn't try to eat the car.

It is tough for some to grasp that concept. For good reason as it's a vanishing ethos. I've recently found it not exclusive to Americans either.
