Default Blobeye to Bugeye HID Headlight Wiring Help

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone has crossed this path long before me and possibly left behind the keys to the kingdom. I have an 02 RS full on STI conversion, including the harnesses. My last hurdle is HL wiring.

Has anyone ever wired up JDM Bugeye HID's; I have the corresponding bugeye pigtails and HL's w/ ballasts; (I've already downloaded the diy pdf cut off shield template ) to the 05 STI HL harness? All help is appreciated, links, cheats, wiring for dummies etc.

Morning guys, I've found FSM's / schematics claiming to be JDM 02-03 sti, but they appear to be the same as USDM 02-03.

This is the 05 sti schematic

If this makes no sense, then cool, we are on the same page lol. I'm giving this jargon my best attempt. Now, if theory is somewhat correct with the ballast out of the picture the following would be a basic diagram? correct me please. If this a basic "correct" diagram, does anyone know where / how to wire in the 02-03 ballasts?

Overshot, over-scrutinized, overestimated, overthinking; it.

I feel dumb, kind of glad no one chimed in. A note to future me(s): bugeye to usdm STI is 99% the same. The 1% covers the 2 plus that do not “plug n play;” the HID ballasts and signal. For the jdm bugeye HID ballasts to usdm Harness, and jdm Bugeye HL to ballast you can get a plug to rectify that seemlessly. I don’t know exactly where to get it yet, but I’ll update that part when I do.

Ballast Testing/ Wiring - Wire it up as follows: Orange (jdm) to black (usdm), Brown (jdm) to red (usdm).

For the turn signal, I do not have a blobeye Sti HL, therefore I can not confirm this; but a 04-05 signal female plug w/ pigtail is needed if you do not wish to cut your oem 05 HL Harness. If you’re ok with splicing proceed as follows: bugeye pigtail (jdm) cut & solder red white to red / yellow (iirc), Black (jdm) to black (usdm), Black / green (jdm) to black / green (usdm) and you’re all set.

Extras: this should be a no brainer. Ballast to bugeye HL. Black to black, orange to orange brown to brown.

Time to order up the cut off shields....woot!
