Hi everyone,

Not exactly my first post but definitely my fisrt Subaru (2005 STI), owned it since this late March 2018 and I didn't think I would own one, let alone get a lot of enjoyment (and no tickets either) out of one single car.

Coming from BMWs (which I still own, and a member of m3forum.net) it's defintley a different animal from a naturally aspirated motor (3.2 S54) and a whole lot of fun.

Bought the car from a close friend (who actually built it as his baby) who's looking to retire and go sailing around the world. He was looking to liquidate his assets to raise moneyfor his adventure. Good luck to him

I'm not totally familiar with Subarus so forgive my lack of knowledge when it comes to mods and functionality of the car.

I have decided to sell this car after thinking about it for the last few months. Sad to see her go, but I have decided to get into stock market trading and I'm looking to raise investment capital. I have not officially made a for sale thread yet but I figure intorducing myself first would be the best way.

Cheers
Mike

Here are a few pics of the car:

good luck man.. Equities has had its biggest sell off in years.

I guess if you're going to start trading, best to do it in a market dip.

I love market crashes, the best time to buy is when there's blood in the streets. even if it's yours.

There are always good opportunities, especially during downtrends

Thanks man!!

Hey I'm in Calgary too! I am actually thinking about adding a second STI so the wife and I don't have to keep switching cars. How much are you asking?

Thanks man, it's one of the finest examples I've seen, the previous owner really looked after the car (I expected that lol)

Now, that's a great deal! Nowadays, most of the previous owners would just sell their rides 'cause it's way outdated or harboring a defect.

That's an unfortunate reality and yes this car is defintely one of the few 'really good deals'. Glad I was able to capitalize on it
