My biggest gripe is that I am a cripple so some days I can't drive it. I like the rattling...it's an appropriate approximation to the state of joints in my body.

Thanks so much!

maybe I'm mistaken and it's another car of mine that allows you to calibrate it

Am I the only one having a issue with the auto up/down windows? Seems like if I want it anywhere between full open or close I gotta tap the button a few times to get it where I want the window. It's really annoying.

This .. for two weeks I drove around blinding people with the light reflected off of my face.

Only real gripe is the infotainment system as a whole. I came from a Base STI and now am in a 2019 Limited with HK speakers. For a $42,000 car this system is just not easy to use or very nice. Disconnects my Bluetooth occasionally. Equalizer that only gives you 3 channels of adjustment? Absolutely embarrassing.

The radio. Complete garbage, but I knew what I was getting into, being that I was coming from a 13 WRX and then a 15 STI.

The car will always rattle and it will ride rough. You're just going to have to deal with that. Put it out of your mind.

1. Outside temp seems to always read 5-6 degrees high.
2. HK System boots up very slowly. I cannot plug the iPhone in until the HU boots up.
a. If I do plug in before car starts, there is no connectivity with HU, and you have to unplug and replug after boot up to get connection.
b. Sometimes there is some connectivity going on, but the iPhone touch screen becomes unresponsive, and the HU also shows CarPlay as grayed out and is unresponsive. You have to unplug and replug.
<snip>
Yikes, I'm glad I didn't get that HK system. My regular radio boots up very quick, I plug my Android in as soon as I get in the car. Takes it a few seconds to recognize the phone and pull up the AA screen but it's not bad. I've read the Apple one isn't as good as Android, but also you could try using a different cord. Some of the cords do not work well at all. Haven't had to unplug and replug in yet either.

I really wish the steering wheel controls would interact with the AA, or hell just work better in general. I pretty much can only depend on it for volume.

I use google play music and the left and right keys (on the same 4-way pad as the volume) skips tracks forward and backward. The mute button in the middle pauses the song. The source button allows me to switch to am/fm radio. What music service do you use that doesn't seem to be compatible with Android Auto? Pandora? Spotify?

Phone calls bother me most. Max volume and you can't hear ****. It is like they didn't test it.

I recently got a rattle in my dashboard that only happens at low speeds. It sounds like its coming from behind the steering wheel. It doesn't do it over big bumps just little bumpy parts on the road when I'm coming to a stop or something

Google Play and Pandora. It's entirely possible that the one time I tried it I went full derp I had hoped that the steering wheel would at least let me switch between navigation and Google Play, or switch from AM/FM/SXM to Android Auto. It's not a huge menace though since I've mostly memorized the layout and I can switch without looking.

It's probably near the same as my rattle. Welcome to my hell.

If you mke calls within Android auto the sound quality is amazing in comparison.. its not using bluetooth for AA calls.

Not sure what that guy was talking about. I have a limited with HK and it boots up instantly. I also can plug my phone in at any time even before turning the car on. Android auto does take about 30 seconds to become available.. takes a lot longer on my wifes older phone.

Wait for freezing temperatures, that's when all of the evil little rattles come to life.

Not a 19, but my exhaust vibrates some of the rear shelf plastic against my back glass when it's cold outside and it's so loud.

Has anyone else had issues with the SRH? My SRH light comes on and off randomly.

I have not seen that warning light. Question, when you start your car do your SRH scan left and right before locking into place? I wonder if that is some sort of check to let you know whether it is working or not.

I am sure the left right scanning on start up is a test. That is what my other cars with SRH aka AFS did/do

2019 Limited.... FM reception is absolutely garbage. Sat radio is fine thought.

BUT no rattles, granted I only have 1k miles, but this is my 8th WRX over the last 17 years and every other one were rattling well before.

LOVE the feel of the improved transmission over the 2016 and the steering responsive bi leds are so much better than the funky LEDs on the 15-17. And the LEDs fogs are a bonus.

And despite the horrible FM reception, finally having android auto is nice.

I agree, they move quickly and it takes some time to get used to

It turns out that I have to unlock the iPhone first. A new iOS 12 feature. CarPlay is recognized by the phone as a USB device and the lock out is a security feature. Unlike plugging the iPhone into a computer, however, thankfully you do not get a separate prompt on the iPhone asking if you want to give the external device access.

SRH is speed based so your car needs to be moving for it to work.
