I think the ‘18 FXT looks better.

You see where they would've had a dual exit exhaust, had there been an FXT. Truly depressing.

I don't like the Sport and lower trims do not get LED Cs. I don't like Sport only LED on rear gate. I am still unsure of the tail lights. I do like the way they look when the brake lights are on, however. Though it's still the biggest, I don't like that the moonroof got smaller. Not a fan of the new hood support. Past that, I really like this Forester. I was thinking the Sport's Orange was Crosstrek Orange. It's a more dark metallic orange. I like it. I have quized folks on the exterior. Someone on here questioned why orange on the inside and red on the outside. I have yet to get a "red" answer when I ask what color they see. Not sure where red came from. Power is the same. Sucks there is no XT; but, the car does the same job it's always done(except towing which has nothing to do with it's power). Just better. Driver Focus is really cool. Sucks it's not working on one of the first ones we got it(employee ordered. Boy, he's pissed). I'm sure I'll find more issues I won't like. Always happens.

The orange trim on the inside of the sport is hideous. Orange vents. What was Subaru thinking?

Man it's so ugly, can't believe they accepted to market this. Despite the ugly look, I'm sure they will sell a lot of them

How many HP does the orange trim add? 10HP?

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but damn is that thing fugly. That black claw bar on the white looks out of place.

This rear is still a little meh but a much better vision, esp the tail light area.

I don't like it either, and you totally right, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm totally in love with the new 2019 Rav4 but some don't like the bold style at all

I spent some time at a dealership, yesterday, checking out the ‘19 Forester and ‘18 F-XT.

The seats in the ‘19 are significantly more comfortable, and seem set a bit lower down. Feels more like sitting in a car than an SUV, which I appreciate. Lots of leg room in the front with the seats all the way back. Feels better than the ‘18 F-XT. Cloth seats in the ‘19 are also more comfortable.

The orange trim pieces on the inside of the “sport” model aren’t as hideous when sitting inside as they look from outside. Still not sure why Subaru picked orange.

The brown leather option looks icky. I’d prefer black, grey, or a very dark brown, instead.

There are still a few ‘18 F-XT’s to be had, but the “feel” of the new Forester is a winner. I didn’t drive one, but I think I’ll wait a year and see if Subaru sticks the FA24DIT in one, or fixes any first year glitches, for the 2020.

I think because orange has been so popular on the Crosstrek Subaru has been pushing it as a "fun" color. It's kind of a niche color for them to flaunt.

Good feedback, especially on the seats. Thanks!

Recaro with airbags? That's expensive, Sir.

Talking

I couldn't resist bumping this thread of disappointment with a little more shade throwing.

Ryan Douthit, the guy behind Subiesport Magazine & Subiesport TV had this to say during a Camry vs Accord video on Driving Sports earlier this week:

This link skips ahead to 1:21 for the relevant part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcUAtviA4HY?t=81

I hope Subaru starts to listen to their fans before it's too late.

Press to pay respects
