Default 11mm oil pump bypass valve getting stuck

I read some reviews of the 11mm oil pump where it's bypass valve gets stuck. Is there a way to prevent this? Such as deburring or some other method?

I think you just answered the question
I've heard of some using some emory paper to give the valve a quick once over to knock off any minor imperfections that could cause sticking.

Specifics on what needs to be addressed on the 11mm pump would be very informative.

There is a thread about it, but from from what I remember, they basically rub on the edges of the small piston to knock down any possible burs that can lead it to catch an edge and get stuck as it moves along the passageway it travels.
