Finally got around to getting my pictures on Imgur so I can contribute to this wonderful thread of bugeyes. Here is my prized postion bugeye. Just got my OEM JDM STI grille on it today since I took it out of the garage, still waiting on the OEM JDM STI hood scoop and my 22b styled wing from paint to get the car looking how want. Along with some side skirt rear spats.

I picked up this WRB gem last week. It's a little rough around the edges but only has 102k miles and a couple nice parts on it. Perfect base for a clean bug build.

And this year marks 10 years with this piece:

This is the story of what it's like to have a project car that has more than 200K miles.

Dave: Boost leak test complete, I have no leaks! Must be the BCS.

Dave: Cleans BCS, no dice. BCS must be dead, ahhh well it had a good life!

Dave: Buys EBCS because Romraider and stuff.

Dave: Finds crack in stock BCS vacuum line during install.

Dave: /facepalm.

I am laughing with you, not at you.

I oddly enjoy replacing stock oem parts with brand new oem parts. When I replaced the vacuum line from the BCS to the inlet, I was able to snap the old one in half.

Ordered the Tomei Expreme full titanium exhaust, but it's on backorder. I'll have to post pics for the first time since June.

Older shot for now.

Blizzaks back on for "winter". Although if we don't get any accumulating snow soon I'm going to give up and throw the PSS back on.

What's up guys! Been following your bugeye threads for about 6 or so years now. Once I get my tax return I will be buying a bug and starting the build process. Pretty stoked! Never built a car before so I'm really hoping this thread comes back to life so I can pick your guys brains along the journey. You guys have some nice rides and over the past couple years you guys have given me a lot of inspiration in what my dream bug looks like. Looking forward to the journey!

Welcome to financial suffering and stock up on anti seize.

I would buy a shell or a roller from the southwest or California before ever touching a car from the Midwest again.

Yeah I plan on investing a lot of money and time into it over the long haul and keeping it forever so I will definitely take my time looking for a shell/roller that is in great shape. Let me know if you guys see any

Few updates: installed my uk300 headlights and painted and swapped on my gramlights. Still a long way to go, but every step gets me closer to my end game.
