Default build my exhast

my 09 sti stock exhaust will not make it another winter.
I really like the ark grip cat back but every thing else I would like to know what works the best.
I am not looking for ultimate power but very well made quality parts that are better for the motor than stock as far as reliability goes.
I am sure I will probably get turbo as well.
so turbo ,downpipe, mid pipe to ark catback.

So what is it that you are asking for? An exhaust recommendation? A pretty popular combo is Invidia dp and invidia q300. Its sounds pretty good on the hatch.

If you are planning on upgrading the turbo then you will need injectors, fuel pump, down pipe, exhaust, ecbs, accessport and protune. Those are just really the essentials and supporting mods for an upgraded turbo.

If you are looking for an exhaust then you will need to figure out what is it that you want in terms of loudness, size, tip, ect ect.

As for downpipes, its either catted or catless. Cobb, Invidia, and grimmspeed are pretty popular options.

I have v3, will get pro tune after.
I am thinking new exhaust from header back. thinking killer b to grim speed up pipe. to ???? finish with ark grip catback.
fill in the blank with wg,catted downpipe ,better turbo in quality and function not neccisarily bigger.

my car has a new 2018 Subaru short block with arp headstuds killer b oil pick up and windage tray. not looking to replace/ blow up just enhance reliability.
not looking for screaming exhaust. more deep low tone rumble

Is cost not an issue? I think you need to give some general parameters. I can tell you I'm very happy with the setup on my RA:

HKS equal length header (ceramic coated by local shop)
Stock up pipe
Stock turbo
Cobb catted downpipe
Stock midpipe
Nameless 5" axleback

i ended up making my exhaust out of stainless 3 inch tubing paired with vibrant turbo muffler and 12 inch bottle resonator, 1 pre bent U bend, 6 feet of tubing and ended up saving a few hundred dollars versus getting a hks catback, usually amazon has those parts available for delivery within 2 business days and a lot cheaper than vibrants website.
