Yeah thatís usually the downside to most Work wheels. I had a set of Work Emotion 11Rís in 18X8.5. Those things weighed about 23LBS each. I would maybe suggest some Enkei RPF1ís. They are strong, light weight, made in Japan, and they are reasonably priced.

Yeah RPF1ís are definitely in contention, ideally I would get ze40ís but I need to find a seller who would accept my kidney for them

WedSport makes some nice wheels that are lightweight, and will be a bit less expensive than ZE40, although pricier than RPF1s. Nice middle-ground as far as lightweight "legit" wheels go in terms of cost.

Yeah just discovered the tc105n/x! They looked quite nice too. Does anyone know how these fit on the 18+ STIís?

TC105N is discontinued. But the TC105X are available! Great size for these cars is 18x9.5 +35 though depending on what tire you want, you may need to roll the rear fenders. And yes, they clear 2018+ 6POT Brembos. Let me know if you are interested in a set and I can help

Even though they're discontinued, if you look hard enough you can still find the odd set of TC105Ns in 18x9.5 +35 or +45. I haven't seen any of those in black though unfortunately, and I'm not a huge fan of the hyper black looking TC105Xs.

18x9.5 +40 with firestone indy 500 265/35 on swift springs - will I need to roll rear fenders?

so im thinking of going with TC105x in 18x9.5 +35 (2019 STI)
I want to run michelin PS4S in 265/35/R18 but it appears these will rub on RCE yellows

do you guys recommend 18x9.5 45 with the above tires OR should i just go 255/35/r18? with +35 offset?

If it were me, since it seems like you want a meatier setup (because of 265s on 9.5s), I would go with the +45 instead of downsizing the tyre.

Full disclosure, I have no prior experience with wheel/tyre fitment - I'm only giving my opinion based on the research I've done looking at similar setups for my 2015 WRX where I've been inclined to lean towards the 18x9.5 +40/+45 over 18x9.5 +35/+38 so I can run more tyre.

One other thing to consider which I can't advise on (because I don't own an STI) is that by going with the +45 offset you are potentially raising the risk of the brembos rubbing.

Anyone running RPF1's 18x9.5 +38 w/ 255 or 265 tires on a STI?

I know they'll work on the WRX. However on the STI they require a 10mm? upfront which could lead to clearance issues?

I'm assuming rolling is required.

Would like this setup, but haven't seen much of it on the STI. Need it to be functional too at the track.

Might just end up getting the Konig Hypergram's 18x9.5 +35. Can't seem to confirm fitment on the STI thought. Sooooo many wheels and more than half don't fit in that size due to the damn Brembos.
