I'm 43 and just bought my first Subaru a 2019 Sti. I come from vw/Audi world and have had a lot of them but always liked the wrx/sti. When I got deeeper into management at work and really didn't need my larger truck any longer I got my sti. Maybe it's a midlife crisis car but hey who cares I like it. I'm right at 1k miles and the wife has been driving it a lot and loves it. I think I will like it even more with a tune to smooth it out a bit, being new to them the power delivery feels a little......abrupt, but it is fun.

I told myself I wouldn't do that much to it when we were signing the papers and my wife just laughed at me and said "yeah....ok". Haha already catching up on the platform and what you guys do to improve and modify it.

I'm 40 this year and still would rock the hell out of a "racer boy" WRX but in my case it's more the kids and dog thing that made me go legacy gt wagon. I think it's a taste thing and that doesn't always change with age. I still have my DSM from my days of youth.

Some say a regular 2.0 impreza wouldn't have made it out in time, others say it would be miles behind driving in the fast lane going the speed limit.

I posted a picture of your car last October with the caption, "Check out this sweet picture of a WRX I found!"

Glad the pilot missed you!

Also, I am over 30, but I have been on NASIOC since I was 20. I just don't post much anymore, because all you young whippersnappers won't stay off my lawn!

Legacy wagon is arguably the best-looking car Subaru ever produced (mostly because of what they didn't do). Wish they'd sold the Spec B 3.0R here. BTW our 2006 3.0R OBW just turned 235,000 miles and runs great.

Subaru butched up the Outback, a step backwards.

Still have my 2009 WRX. Always wanted a Cayman S, but the Porsche community, while old and white like me, is just too precious.

I went to a PCA autocross last year, open to all cars because it was a fundraiser. There were about 60 cars in the event, including some very, very expensive models.

Those cocksuckers raised a total of $1,100! And I gave $100 of it! To put that in perspective, we had a hockey fundraiser last winter and 40 guys, few likely as wealthy as these Porsche owners, raised $220,000. Cheap, selfish pricks. So I'll keep hanging around the vape shops with y'all.

Just picked up my first STI today, a 2019 base model with the Recaro seat package, and I turned 47 in March. Been wanting one ever since they first came to the U.S., and finally made it happen!

31. Looking into getting my first WRX. You shouldn't need validation from others to do what you like.
