My friend took this of my car a few weekends ago.

I'll have to ask him what he was shooting with (Camera + Lens)

NOT MY PHOTO, hired the track photographer for this one. It's nice to have a shot of my car with me driving for once. Framing is off, but I like the shot.

Before anyone admonishes me for my poor hand placement on the wheel, I'm actually turning right. You can tell by the pedal shifter.

Did you edit them yourself? Looks like your style a bit. And just admit you’re flexing on them hoes.

Here are some of my last batch.

Yall ever get tired of shooting the same car over and over? I love my car to death to drive, but I feel like I just fall in to shooting the same angles, in the same light, at the same places...

working on some light painting practice, did this with my 135mm and light wand talked with someone who suggested using a paint rolling pole that extends and doing it from the other side. So I picked one upa nd an adapter off amazon to screw the light want onto and it is a bit diff but i will post my results later in the week after i get done editing a shoot i did for someone

Focus on composition try incorporating the rule of thirds into your shots, all of them there are dead center. I think that is one of the most challenging aspects of car photography is location scouting and composition. It's easy to place a person somewhere and get some interesting shots but a car is big.. it is a PITA to move 5 times.. you have to worry about traffic and other people. But why i find is helpful is literally walking around the car in circles sometimes and kneeling down looking from up high and seeing whats behind the car and how it looks when you frame the shot. Sometimes you have to make due, i commit myself with time limitations sometimes to locations and have to make it work with people so in that circumstance its good practice to be able to change your plan or recompose the shot.

Also your shots are kinda flat, I would get familiar with the histogram and how to read it. If you dont already that can tell you if your shot is flat, has a lot of contrast, if the darks are too dark, if the highlights are blown out. Its hard when you are kinda new learning how far to push a RAW file

I think that shot with some front bokeh is the best one there. Has some **** going for it. You shot low, incorporated some out fo focus area in the foreground, the car isnt dead center. You could even tweak the omposition at the time of the shot to probably cut off the top of the container so you dont have that strip of it along the top that is crooked. Can also bump the exposure like a tiny bit (.1 or .2) bump the clarity over the car (+20-25), and maybe bring the whites up just a bit and the car will pop more from the background. Tweak tone curves overall for a bit more selective with the contrast maybe

I realize this is the DSLR thread, but due to the times there probably isn't an SLR thread. So I guess this will have to do lol..

Got the new exhaust fitted. Still need to work out the issues with the fitment, never done a slip joint one before and that **** has few rattles from the narrow passages it has to snake through

I (still own) and used to shoot with a 1DMK2N but these were with my fiance's Rebel T6 and kit lens. So easy to use.

I really like how these 2 shots turned out. This one took me a while and was about 7 or 8 shots maybe?

NovaWeb-8 by Daniel Dmochowski, on Flickr

This show was shot just after the golden hour in that transition between sunset and the blue hour. It was kinda grey and colorless so i made it a night theme in the "blue hour" via photoshop. Had never done that before but love the look

I wish I had your backdrops! The flatness in the immediate background with elevation off in the distance looks great.
