![]() I just ordered a set of BRIDE seats for my 03 WRX.
![]() They come with a set of "universal seat rails". Does anyone have any experience installing these. Is it as simple as I'm imagining or are there hidden problems just lurking around the corner. If someone's already installed these can you please give me an idea what to watch out for, i.e., side air bags have to be disconnected...does this cause a problem with the computer, etc., how easy is the fitup.. Thanks!

![]() My Bride seats don't have "universal" seat rails. Mine are Subaru (WRX) specific. Sure those are really Bride? My local car shop owner says the new Brides are made in Taiwan.

![]() nice well, i just finished installing my seats, so for anyone that has universal rails that came with the seats..... i used them to put myn in and all i did was cut the lower tabs off the stock seat rails just the 4 tabs that stick down from the slide it self..... and i put all 4 of the tabs in the car and bolted them down set the seat on top of it got it where i wanted it to be tac welded it took it all out.. and welded it all together and that was it very simple if you have any kind of mechanical incline. but since you have the brackets for your car that made it easier, although i had the option to lower, or raise, and slant the seat forward and tip the seat backwords to give the bottom more of a bucket to sit in. due to i could cut weld, or adjust the tabs to how i wanted them.

![]() The Bride rails also give you adjustment capabilities, you just shim between the rails and seats. Again, are you sure you got Bride seats and rails? Never heard of Bride "universal" rails. Especially ones that need tabs welded on to make them work. Just because they say Bride, doesn't mean they are.

![]() Hey guys, looking for a bit of help before I install my new Bride Stradia seats up front. I have a 2013 WRX Hatch and am curious about the passenger side air bag weight sensor. Does anyone know if I will need to remove the bladder weight sensor assembly from the OEM seat and reinstall it in the Bride, or if there is another solution. Bride makes a airbag seat canceller part but I am not sure if that works with what I am trying to accomplish. Basically, when I install the seats, I just want to make sure the passenger air bag still works like stock. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
