That must be a misprint. Its only 70lb a min which would make that pretty much impossible. Garrett showes them as only the 660 and 770

If you click on the "900" it appears to be in the lower 80lbs range. We will see what these things do soon I'm sure.

Yah that's not even on Garretts page. its still a 6260 so... But I would love to see it actually do it. From what ive seen the G series are underperforming so far.

Ive only seen the 660 on a couple of cars, I didnt think they were that bad, but if you are expecting to make 500 on this turbo I think you would really need to push the heck out of it. I really think its a good turbo for the 400-450ish whp range. so hopefully the g30 will be able to push into the 500ish range

I've been considering the G30 series for a while now, but honestly it seems like Garrett is great at marketing theoretical performance but lacks the actual real-world data to back it up. This was already the case with the GTX gen2 series... sorry but imma sit back and wait for the dyno sheets on this one

I guess, what are your expectations? I mean to me it seems like alot of these turbos that are trying to be a good all around turbo. these turbos that are have to be pushed like on e 85 or high octane. whats your beef with the gtx gen 2?

I have a new G25-660 build that I am debugging at the moment and I should be able to provide some dyno numbers soon. Butt dyno is impressed with overall power and power band. As far as response, autocross datalogs are showing 0.8 sec from throttle tip to go from full vacuum to 15 psi boost.

Our beloved WRX will get the G30-76 type G30-900, our plans changed from a GTX3071r Gen 2 to this new type due to the 500+Hp , our closeddeck can handle at least 850 with lots of torque .
it will happen in May but we'll keep you all posted on progress

I saw a video of some guys doing a g25 660 on a 2.1 stroker and even with the 91 ar it hit a ceiling and started to level off. So the g30 might be a better option to that turbo

I'd suggest going to the G35-900.

Here's a video of a dyno of a STI in the middle east with the G35-900. He had a G30-770 on before. And there's a vid of that dyno too.

We're close. I have an adapter designed that gets it really close to where we'd like to see it. Waiting on Garrett's compart compressor housing to be released. That should be the final piece of the puzzle. Looks like that's about 6 months out though

That's Ibrahim's car, he's super awesome to chat with lol. He mentioned the car was only pump and meth, so that's why the car wasn't making like record breaking numbers. Hopefully he gets some ethanol in that bish .

Yea I was talking to ATP about that turbo, originally was my goal as well. They mentioned that turbo shouldn't have an issue with those numbers, depending on the hotside of the turbo. Which are you running?

30psi but still more to come the tuner said, still waiting for Dyno time with the car I think the limiting factor is going to be the turbo as everything else has been addressed,I’m hoping for over 600 at the wheels which shouldn’t be to hard with more boost added
