![]() Helping a friend swap an engine into his rs and we are having a difficult time finding info on what these 2 hoses are for on a stock wrx https://imgur.com/a/jGGU9hm
Any info would be appreciated

![]() They connect the turbo coolant reservoir to the main radiator.

![]() Is the hard time because you're reusing the stock gc8 radiator and there's nowhere to connect them to?

Both hoses are easily orderable from the Dealer. You could also just purchase coolant hose from an auto parts store of the same size and any length you want. Or you can buy a complete kit like this: https://www.rallysportdirect.com/par...y-hose-kit-red It just works better if the are pre-formed. |

![]() One is the pressured hose, connects to the pressure side nipple of the radiator. Older RS radiators won't have that nipple. Tap and add one.
The other is a pressure relief, on most wrx's it goes directly to the lower plastic reservoir since there's no lower radiator cap. If you have a lower radiator cap, you can tee it to the reservoir line. |
