Hey guys.
EFI Logics in CT
275 HP
298 TQ
Peak boost is around 18PSI going down to 16.6PSI - 17PSI at redline
Mods:
MA performance intake
Perrin charge pipe
Perrin BPV
GS EBCS
Perrin TGV delete
EGR unplugged
STI mid pipe
Nameless axle back

Tune feels okay so far. Didnít really talk to the tuner much while I was there. Didnít get a baseline from the base map they sent me.

Stock FA20 on Dyno: 220 whp
SAE Correction: standard
Boost: 20 psi
Fuel: Shell 93 Octane (E10)
Conditions: 69 F, 45% humidity, sea level
Peak HP: 309 whp @ 5800 RPM
Peak Torque: 306 lb/ft @ 4250 PRM
Just prior to tune - oil change, spark plugs, walnut blast

Cobb AccessPort v3
Cobb Big SF Intake
Cobb SS 3" J-pipe (catted, resonated) with Perrin turbo sump restrictor
Invidia Q300 cat-back exhaust
Perrin TGV Delete
EGR Delete
Cobb Bypass Valve
Cobb 3-port boost control solenoid
Process West Verticooler + charge pipe
Killer B Air/Oil Separator
Killer B equal length IWG headers
SoCalPorting v3 turbo upgrade (w/ Turbosmart internal wastegate actuator)
Cobb Stage 1 Drivetrain kit (shifter plate, shifter bushing, shifter stop)
Whiteline Gearbox Positive Shift Kit
Group N Transmission Mount
Perrin Pitch Stop Mount
Perrin Pitch Stop Brace

Car made 318 whp after adding in a bottle of VP Madditive Octanium, which boosts the effective octane level to 98-100 octane depending on how much 93 is in the tank. Bottom line is I really need to go flex fuel. Tuner said I'd be at 375 whp easily on an E55-60 mix. One of the only stations in all of New England that carries it is ~25 minutes away, so I don't have an excuse.

I know about the one in Chelsea and Cambridge. Unless there is another one in north shore (or even NH) I don't know about, which would seriously make my day.

That's some good top end power. Is that mostly from the intake mani?

OMGHi2U 2015 WRX 394/362 e53

394hp/362tq at e56
Parts list(to the best of my knowledge):
COBB:
  • TMIC
  • AOS
  • BIG SF
  • EBCS
  • Resonated Catted J-pipe
  • Flex Fuel Sensor

Other Brands:
  • IAG Stage 2 FA20DIT Short Block
  • Boomba Bypass Valve
  • Awe Track Edition Exhaust
  • TGV Delete
  • EGR Plug(not delete)

Car is tuned for a max of e65 currently
91 Map was with some ****ty valero gas I had to put in since I almost ran out of gas on the way to the tuner so with some higher quality 91, it would likely be a little higher.

Next, I plan on getting a nostrum hpfp and going full e85 since it's a lot easier than going back and forth between the pumps.

Itís set up, but not using it with just the stage 2 block and blue. Needs a closed block and bigger ets kit to really use. 2 fp turbo bearings couldnít handle it tuning it

So, If i am understanding correctly... The limiting part in generating power for your build is the turbo?

I love the set up, car is fast and fun but that turbo can only hold 24 psi, anymore then it breaks. If your looking to do a motec setup get a ets or killer b turbo kit. Just from my experience

You plan on upgrading the turbo to see where your system takes the power to? very interesting since you have controlled port injection now

2017 WRX - Had BrenTuning do a lot of the installation and the tune (nothing but great things to say about them btw).
GS TMIC
GS Charge Pipe
GS EBCS
Cobb Big SF Intake
Cobb BPV
Cobb Catted/Resonated J-pipe
KillerB Swaincoated Header
Perrin cat-back exhaust
Radium AOS
Fresh set of plugs and an intake valve walnut blasting immediately prior to tuning.

I did not get a before dyno, but the car had a high-flow drop in air filter, GS TMIC, GS Charge pipe and Perrin cat-back with the Cobb Stage 1 93 octane map on it when it went in for the rest of the mods so I assume I was somewhere in the 255-260whp range beforehand if a stock 2015+ dynos around 240-245.

338whp/335ft-lb torque
