This story is right up there with Homeward Bound.

It's good that you were always able to keep track of it, but it's amazing that three other people let it pass along. Something tells me this car is done changing hands now.

Thanks Man... Trying to find the elusive 'Best looking OEM Wheel' ...If I could find some JDM Ver 8 Volks, Those to me are the HOLY GRAIL ..IMO... Have to save my Pennies for those tho..

I like these and they lost a bit of Rotating weight...

Getting ready to put her up for the winter... Just about done with it .. I am soooo thankful its in Great Shape.

Its starting to get to a point that the rare JDM parts are paying off.

I do have a couple of things left on my JDM list that I am trying to find. we'll see how that works out.
mostly S203/4 things, mainly S203 wheels..

Did a quick 25mile Drive today.. God, I love this thing.. Power is soooo Linear, smooth and strong..

LOVE IT... Pretty much the last time I will drive it till Spring... Will Start it up every other week and let it warm up and get to temperature.. She's resting peacefully now.. awaiting a time it can stretch its legs..

I do have some winter projects that I want to work on..
Try to continue to get it in Topnotch Shape.. I want to polish out the STi Ti exhaust. In the spring it will get another round of Detailing including a ceramic coat.

This Blobeye model is my favorite after the GC8. She's bulbous, she's muscular, she doesn't care that she's big boned. Big and fast. She's like the bigger and younger sibling of the GC8. And looks like a rally car. The current gen....not for me.

Looking good!! That Ti S204 exhaust is a nice addition.

For storage;
If you have the car topped up on gas + Stabil, it is actually best just to leave her dormant for the winter if storing. Starting a car and letting it idle for a while will not get the oil up to operating temp and will add moisture and contaminates to the engine/exhaust. You need to drive 8-10 miles to get it to temp (oil, not coolant). I have not started my car for over 6months and do an OCI several years between and the oil analysis always comes back stellar.

Make sure the tires are at correct pressure and roll car or rotate tire position a few times to prevent flat spotting.

Special Props to Murrdog24... as I had forgotten about wanting one of these... more efficiency and less drivetrain loss and lighter weight, less rotating mass... so have to save up my pennies to include one of these in the future

Welp....Trigger is pulled... Carbon Driveshaft and OEM Gasket set is on the way..

I feel this is a significant Mod to be done..

looking forward to it.. as well as putting on my OEM S204 Ti exhaust muffler....Potential weight savings and less Rotational weight..
I'm excited to get this going.

Gonna be probably in the spring..no heated garage...(yet)....Muuuhahahaaaaa

I have one on the white wrecked sti. Ill probably work on it some more soon. I really like how responsive the car feels with the carbon drive shaft
