Yeah I was going to say the same. My dad kept our CJ in the garage for 9 months out of the year. It was a doors off summer cruiser. It rained a lot where we lived, so why fuss with water getting in it and the plastic windows freezing and cracking during the winter months?

There could be an actual design defect of the Bronco, don't know and not disputing that. BUT common sense to me would be keep it in a garage during the worst of winter or opt for a hardtop. Or just assume that ANY convertible is subject to wind and moisture intrusion and prepare accordingly.

Well just for the record the guy stated he wasnt bashing Ford and was just showing for others to see. Just in case some of you guys did a drive by, I know I do it a lot too.

If it was mine I would be a little concerned about the caked ice on my electronics under or In the dash. They are designed to get wet inside. But heavy Ice for extended time. Also, he was away and came home to it. So it could went through temperature change up down freeze thaw some, then freeze. That would worry me..But I wouldn't leave 50K dollar new Bronco outside with soft top and go away, any month season of the year.

I don't think he's bashing Ford at all. I just think his expectations for where he lives and the conditions the vehicle endured is odd. Soft top convertible through an extreme cold blizzard event in the most extreme part of the world? Yeah, that's a little weird.

He can give it to me and I'll take care of it for him. lol

I am so glad Ford bought me out of my Raptor and I decided to do something different.

I originally wanted one of these. Then saw the interior and said NOPE. Then I decided I wanted a bronco sport. But wife starting talking about boats again.

so now I have a loaded RAM Laramie 4x4 coming in. Do I need a full sized truck. Well if the boat and the tractor I am looking at for home improvements come in at what I think they are. Yup. Will need the tow rating.

Plus 2023 is the last year for the Hemi. I was kind of craving one more shot at a V8 before the industry quits on them. One last hurrah. I really wanted a ridgeline, but the tow rating is just too low for what I am planning on pulling. (FYI, I will only two 2/3's the max tow rating on any vehicle)

Well now you'll fit in at work and won't get the comments of not driving a real truck

The iPad is ginormous! But it's probably the best full size on the market right now.

I hear you on the towing. I've heard all the bull**** about my Ridgeline. I try to explain, for what I will be towing, the Ridgeline is MORE capability than I'll ever need for towing. Falls on deaf ears man. If I had my way it'd have Bilsteins/Ohlins, sways, and BBK for even better handling.

I'm drawn to the tablet size and strength in the new Tundra.

I actually like the look of the Bronco a lot but the extent of capability I'd need is decent ground clearance and snow handling and my towing needs will be at most a 3 bike trailer. So I could probably get by with most any cuv or small truck. Santa Cruz would probably work...

I expected a little better QC with this launch seeing as it was hotly anticipated.

You KNOW how I feel about the ridgeline. It is probably the best trucks for most people driving trucks today. I love them. If it were not for the boats weight I would not even look at a Full Sized Truck.

Well and I want a V8 again.. just because.
