![]() Well you already have to have a WRX...
And if you did the work yourself. Okay maybe not 50k. But 75k, damn right. And no it still will NOT be a 1:1, but close enough so that it does not matter. 250k of that 500k is just to have the word Prodrive on it. |

Soo, the suspension they use is just the run of the mill stuff I could get online? Or a higher dollar version. Wider tires warrant that much bulge in the fenders? Tunable anti-lag is waaaay out of my realm to contest. The engine. How much did the WRC engine cost? I am sure it's not up to that fully; but, would they have parts for the 2.5 just lying around? Again, that transmission. Yeah. Sure. Maybe a lot of that price is just fluff; but, duh...... I've just heard several people(not just on here) say they can make a WRC car for well under $100K and I laugh because if that were true, I'm sure the WRC cars wouldn't be soo expensive. Didn't every 22B sell for more than $100K when they first sold? Inflate that to todays money and how far off is this....being that much better? |

![]() I like how their solution to refreshing the old interior pieces was to cover absolutely everything in alcantara

![]() Interior: Awful.
I really do not care for Alcantara. It's always been seen as upscale, but I've always viewed it as faux-scale. The aftermarket has especially cheapened it. |

![]() ![]() Both of these Singers are cheaper than 500k price tag. I would really expect so much more from Prodrive... |

![]() To be fair, I wouldn't expect anything like a Singer interior in any form of Impreza/WRX. But I suppose I never imagined what a half million dollar Impreza might look like before now.
GT3 race cars cost less. Pretty weird. |

![]() you make a fair point, bud. They do not have good interior bones to start with I suppose.
Maybe this is the quintessential example of lipstick on a pig? |

Take Automobili Amos and what they did with the Delta Integrale. ![]() It had a cheap 90's italian interior and this what they came up with: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That is night and day compared to the P25, with a similar price. |

![]() I'm nowhere near being in a financial place to purchase one of these, but this is pretty underwhelming considering the other vehicles available for similar prices.

![]() The interior is very disappointing. I thought they would copy a 22B interior. It looks like they just covered a Ver 3 STi interior in black alcantra. Where is the color (ex blue or red)? Where is the carbon fiber bits? That bottom center console looks like an aftermarket unit. I hope this is not the finished car.

![]() That P2 actually has a modified GD interior. Note the vents, gauge cluster, steering wheel.
Having own both styles of first gen Impreza interiors, I personally believe the first interior to be the best design. Fewer hard plastics, tends to rattle less, softer materials in several places, prettier swooping design. I think Prodrive made the right choice there, but they needed to add some color and better materials other than Alcantara. |

![]() I like how pretty much no one's paying attention as it drives by. I feel like if it were a legit 22B then more people would be watching it do its thing.
