Talking Oh Yeah 12's here I come !!

Well tonight around 5 had nothing to do so I decide to go ahead and put my new turbo on. Make a few phone calls meet up at friends garage who just happens to have a lift but was not fully finished. So at 6:30 he goes and gets all the parts he needs to finish I get a few tools and we meet back at about 7:30 so he gets everything all set with the lift at about 8:15 and i get underway everything goes pretty smooth get everything all done in 2 and 1/2 hours, [HERE IT IS] buuut when we back it off the lift all of a sudden smoke pours out of the engine compartment so we assume its engine coolant burning off, theres was a lot spilt so I take it for a ride no luck still smoking bad get it back in spend about a hour evaluating it and searching finally notice that the factory bolts from the coolant pipes were not tightened and was spraying a bit under throttle. Tighten them up and back underway, go for a ride and there is still smoke. So we put it back up on the lift and look around for about a 1/2 hour see nothing wrong at all back it out drive it leave it running and well all of a sudden no smoke nothing, it was burning off thats all and everything is now running smooth . Drive it very calm fro the next couple days, not sure on break in period and boost level but, im gonna run it at 7 lbs for about 700 miles.

Im hoping to be able to give it a shot this wednesday we will see.

too be continue......
