I saw a bunch of ya's and met some of you guys, (sorry I couldn't talk much more) but I wasn't able to put names, with screen names. Running the STi today was a blast. I could not believe just how amazing the car was on the course. My fastest time was a 48.5xx and ended up 5th in class. Spencer also ran my car and he got 3rd with a 47.0xx. I expected these results since he's been doing this longer than I have. Oh, I was the Blue STi with the 327 or 516 on the sides

I met you Qbushido with your girl right before I went to McDonalds. The Gold is a sweet rim color.

Mine are GunMetal now from all the brake dust.

Yep! it was nice to see alot STi's show up.

The course was a lot of fun but was a little bit rusty in the beginning. Also the power caught me off-guard because i used to also run a 4eat 2.5RS. I was fighting the car too much on the first runs and finally learned how to control it more in the end. My best time was a high 47's...still a lot of room for improvement!

Fritz, just out of curiousity, I was running 45ish-40 tire pressure and DCCD set at 35-65. What were you running? I'd be interested in trying to figure out an opitimum set up.

imprezaf, were your sideways rubbing with that setup?

On the street I'm running 36 front 30 rear.

What about on the street?

I was good with this set-up. I wasn't rolling over on the sidewalls all that much. I was right at the arrows, but I feel like I could have bumped the rears up a little bit to help the car turn just a tad. I'm wondering if anyone caught my nice slide coming back from the turn around over to the "timing turn" I have 2 nice cone marks on the lower bumper Battle scars baby!!

I lowered my pressures this morning to 36/34

Thumbs up ThankS!!!

Hey Qbushido thanks for posting the pics, especially of my STi (W/G combo). Sorry I didn't get much of a chance to talk/meet you and many of the other ReX owners, the event had such a great turn out with over 100 drivers and cars I think it was one crazy AutoX event. Those guys who ran the event were pretty good at getting us all out and racing pretty quickly one after another. This is my first AutoX in over 3 years and I don't remember it being this crazy, I was forunate to get to work
in timing station and saw 1st hand how crazy and organized those guys have to be I don't think many racers know how fast paced it is under that tent, but believe me I wasn't even able to eat my Micky-D's as I was entering all the cars for Round3.
Anyways a big thanks to the event runners for getting us all at least 6 runs in.

Hopefully at the next AutoX I'll have more time to meet/talk to you guys.

Thanks Again Qbushido for the pic and U too Mike for the advice on the DCCD, next time I'll be sure to raise my pressure from wat ever the dealer had in there (about 35psi) to a higher pressure and start driving with the DCCD more so I am used to it

WreX'N,

You were the one I was talking to about the shift light right?
I told you how you can shut off or turn on the beep.

Dorongo said you press the other button/dial. I donno what he was talking about.

I uusally set my RPM and then it beeps and goes into the second mode displaying either a -- or on.

Just turn the dial when in second mode and you'll see it go from -- to on vice versa.

Nice Blow off valve BTW. Some people were like...What the hell is that. lol

Hey Lesliex....
I remember you now...so much was going on yesterday, and I passed out as soon as I got home, went to bed at like 1am the nigth before and woke up at 6am to get to Nassau by 8am.

Thanks for the tip about the REV LiMiTeR audio, but thing is...on or off doesn't really matter when you have your helmet on cause you can't hear it anyways
I nEEd a biG shift light to blind me

Yeah people were all telling me that it was pretty LOUD, and I didn't mean for it to be so loud, but audiable enough to hear to me, I heard some people mocking it because it was on a stock car but after I posted an OK time they went quiet

Great meeting you and the other guys, see around.

Helping fellow drivers is what it's all about! I'm glad it helped you out, and your times reflected it! CHeck out my post in the Tri-State for the official times and there's some awesome pictures in there as well.
