![]() Years Sedan/Wagon
90-94 BC/BF 95-99 BD/BG 00-02+ BE/BH Plain and simple - Don't worry, probably everyone had no idea at first what the heck those meant. There should be a Legacy Sticky/FAQ in this forum. So who want's to put one together? /Mark |

![]() I agree on the sticky idea. It'd be nice to have information regarding the legacy posted in there, like the model designations, which years had the DOHC or SOHC, which had a turbo, etc....

![]() Cool, now touring means turbo correct?
In that case, I'll take a BJ ![]() Strange the sedans don't have as many designations, considering the 91 looks different than the 94. |

![]() The touring wagon was just a badge up and came in 3 models for 1990, an L, LS, and LS-D. None of which were turboed. The first turbo was in 1991.
I have a BJ, but not the touring wagon. Also have a BK and my baby BE. BE is a lot quicker to say then "2001 Subaru Legacy Sedan." |

![]() Those pricing guides are not always correct. I have never seen nor heard of one. We need a Legacy spotting!
Anyone ever see one? I know there were none for the New England region. Nor any 2.2L in the new Legacy. |

![]() Well, looks as though there WAS a 2000 Brighton, if you look here
Definitely shows a Brighton brochure cut. May have only been in certain markets and/or very limited production. edit: OK, found it on Subarus site (Home\news\press releases\search for brighton) Quote:

![]() Right, I editied out the 2.2L listing in my post, if I would have proofed it from where I copied it from it would not have been there...
But, there was a Brighton parked right next to mine in the dealer lot when I bought my car, just as new, and same color. There are a few running around seattle, and they look *really* weird (they dont have roof rails, at all!) A |

![]() In 2000 when I was car shopping in Toronto, Canada, there was three wagon models, Gt - no Leather or Limited, L, and Brighton.
You guess which one I got! Actually co-pilot seconded the decision - said the Brighton was too cheap inside!! ![]() oh yeah - all had the 2.5 And - at subaru.ca - you can still get one! |

![]() Bg/BH stands for a different chassis code. That includes the frame of the car, body panes, etc. and the type of engine apparently.
From all my searcehs the 2000+ outbacks seem to be in te BH9 category, and very little of them were just regular GT trim models. |

![]() I would say yes on the generic "BE BL" type designation, but as from the above list the numerical value following woudl be different in my mind. FOR EXAMPLE, the 2.5i could be a BL9 while the GT might be a BL5. Both BL bodies/frames/etc, but different engines.

![]() Great thread guys. I'm currently updating the Cusco listings on the Horsepowerfreaks website, and I was getting a bit lost with all those chassis codes. Does anyone know what a "BP9" would be? It says "Legacy GT" next to it...
