Default New Group Decal Thread.

I think we should start a new thread with your favorite design. Try to post JUST THE DESIGN YOU LIKE BEST. When we get all the favorites we will start a vote. As soon as we get a winner I will take it to the sign shop to get them made.

I personally don't like ENTHUSIAST GROUP. If you are going to use "enthusiast" don't use "group" too, it is kind of redundant.
I wouldn't mind just "enthusiast".

My pick is included.

Ok well all the rest are pretty much the same word wise. So i thought maybe before we decided id throw one more idea out. pretty much the same style but different use of words. Colors can always be changed too.

vote 1 for HIHO's post...

however, I would prefer Club as opposed to Group. Of course, if that can't be done, or actually looks bad...then back to initial vote. Really, that one line design with the double L's could say Ford Pinto Enthusiast and I'd still think it cool

Post Decal Vote

If we are just going with one design then I think I have to vote for Biggreen's version. If we will be running two designs then I also like HIHO's pick.

Q: Whatever design is picked will we have color choices?

Peace,
Oqui

Good point Oqui. I like biggreen's but I am not down with the green color. If I had to vote for one with no color choices I go with Hiho's.

NO, NO, NO, that is not my design it is AKSubie's. I wasn't trying to steal it.

I just posted it because it is my favorite.

I like biggreen's too. I will talk to my friend about 2 sizes. As far as colors go I am not sure yet. I want to get a silver made for sure. Silver goes with everything. I don't think we can get a bunch of different colors, but I will ask. The price may go up.

So is everyone happy with both designs? If so I can take them tomorrow and see if he can make a small and a large. Small being biggreen's design and large being AKSubie's.

looking at both designs lit a bulb in my brain. heres my vision. This would lower costs I would think, making for room for different colors ('cause it has to match my wheels It just has too!! )

I vote for the AKSubie/ Hiho design.

Simple one line, double L in the middle.

I'd buy a couple.

I had a similar thought to that biggreen96 - mainly when people were wanting the logo only on one side, they could cut it out or whatever. I'm sure most of us are capable of lining the words up on the window. IMO though, I don't think that is such a good idea.

Oh, and yeah, I vote for HIHO's design as well. (for the long one, biggreen's for the short)

I vote for the one in HIHO's first post... in silver of course. Would the lettering be silver and the backdrop clear... if so I think it would look nice as a windshield banner. Is that what everyone is referring to as "long?"

I am emailing him a *EPS file tonight. He said he will give us some idea of the price tomorrow. He said as long as it is simple the price won't be to high at all. I told him first we want a price for the 1x8 inch design. Than after he gives us an idea we will try another size.

What size do you want the smaller one to be? ?x?

Does everyone know the kind of sticker it is going to be? It will be lettering with a clear plastic on the front(stick side) and a white cloth type material on the back(non-sticky side). You peel off the clear plastic place it where you want it, rub on to the surface than remove the white material. The lettering is left behind.

I also need to know about how many to order. Maybe 20 big and 10 small to start with? Do you think we will need more than that?

After the stickers are done I can ask him about a window banner. I don't want one myself but if anyone does let me know.

PS- I think different colors ARE possible.

HIHO, awesome thanks for taking the bull by the horns.

As far as a smaller size is concerned, I intend on buying two, one for each of the rear triangular windows on my Legacy, so a size that will fit in that small of an area would be great.

Color preferences if possible would be silver, grey or blue. But I guess I could go with the concensus.

Peace,
Oqui

As I mentioned earlier, if there's any way to get some made inverse, so they can go on the inside of the glass, I'd be a really happy guy.

I have yet to find an exterior sticker that will last more than one winter...

However, I'll buy a couple of whatever you come up with.

I talked to him today. He can do them in different colors! He said they will be $4.00 per sticker.

I told him we wanted the big one to be 1x8 and the small one 2x4.

I will ask him to do a couple of mirrored ones too.

I need to talk them again and work out all the details. I will go ahead and pay for them and you guys can pay me back. I also ask that you include $0.37 for a stamp. I will try and get him to make a samples so I can post them for all to see.

I will keep you updated.

Should we start another thread for orders.? I am going to get 4, two big, two little. How many should I get him to make? I don't want to be out a bunch of my own money.

I will also try to get a sample of the colors he has.

That sounds great HIHO!! Hmm..Yeah, I agree we might want a "buying" thread. With the long and short of it (pun intended) about the stickers, then like other threads, a running tally with who wants which, etc......

Oh yeah, please put me down or 2 each. Colorwise, I'd prefer to be a red (solid/bright red) although I too can go along with the consensus color (assuming it's a silver/dark grey/etc)

Let me know when/where/how to send moula.
