Default Holiday party final date/details. December 21st!!!

I started thinking it may be best to do this on a saturday due to being able to get good pictures before sunset.

Here's the approximate time and final date:

@3pm start gathering in the Southern parking lot (the one that's mainly empty).

Between 3 & 4pm we will start staging for pictures starting @4pm sharp (otherwise the sun will be down).

From there we will "mob SCIC style" to D & B for fun and festivities.

If I am able to scrounge up some "booty" for the raffle (no not that kind of booty) the raffle will be @8pm and your free to leave if you want after that. If anyone has any goodies they would be willing to donate for the raffle wether from Vendor or Personal stuff please PM me and let me know about it.

Thanks and I hope to see everyone there (though I know some won't be able to make it ) .

Rich

PS: On a side note should I open up the SCIC store and have a couple things run off for raffle items they have "thongs" now and the steins are back?

Moved everything up an hour. Also the date is Dec 21 if you didn't see the title above.

Different split though!

The El Toro Y is what Rich refers to, so named because one freeway splits into 2 and resembles a 'Y'.

The actual name is the "El Toro Y", so I'm going to go ahead and assume it to be a "Y".

I always wondered why anyone would want to visit "South County"... then I got a job here. Good thing its just off the freeway and prevents me from having to explore the area.

Default Keep it....

Keep the pic taking @ 4pm. That will give some of us 'Northerners' some time to get across Ventura, LA, and clear across Orange County....maybe in time for some of these pics.

Default Message from Val

Val will not attend your festivities. Christmas is not a holiday observed by Moslems, as we only believe in ALLAH. Please join me in my next get together, not at Dave and Busters, but and Dajid and Bhookash for the holy celebration of Ramadan.

Please be considerate of our customs, as we do not eat pork. Swine is the filthiest animal on Earth, and it is forbidden by Allah. I will be bringing foodstuffs to eat, such as bread and water. DO NOT BRING ANY ALCOHOL

Inform Val it's a holiday party not a christmas party since I'm sure Kwannza and Channukka are practiced by some members as well as other religions.

If I was a Muslim your above statement would likely offend me.
You prove time and time again that you are ignorant and highly immature, not to mention disrespectful.

Jeez you get offended by everything don't you? I merely put down a message given to me by Val. He IS a Muslim BTW. I think he was kidding about the Dajid and Bhookash thing (a play off of Dave and Busters).

What part of Val's message is offensive?

I didn't realize that being a moderator gave you the power to judge other people and look down on them.
