Default SUBARU READ THIS: What color STi's should get gold wheels?

Pick two of the four colors as the ones which should get gold wheels, the two you don't pick should get silver/gray wheels.

No picking 4 or 1 or 3 choices!

it should be an option on all the colours.
i, personally don't want gold wheels and will see if i can get the dealer to swap them for an aftermarket rim before i even take possession.
but, to each his/her own.

The blue color should come with gold wheels, the black looks good with them too. White and silver should have them as a no pay option.

if forced to pick only two, I think Blue & White are the ones which should get it.

however, I agree with jaebaby that we should be able to pick whatever combination we want.

I will have my dealer hold onto my Blue car until they can swap out the gold wheels for anthracite ones.

I think silver and gold is really the only bad combo. The rest is just a matter of personal taste. And, I also think that those who disagree with me and like the silver and gold combo should be able to get it too.

But, given the rules laid out in the first post, I vote Blue and White get gold, Silver and Black get gunmetal.

I think with a gunmetal rim option it will be tough to choose, but I think I pretty much made up my mind to go full STi, blue and gold. If I have to live with the big scoop and wing I might as well get the whole package. You really can't go wrong with a gunmetal/anthracite rim option on any color vehicle.

At the peterson debut I heard one of the higher up reps say that Blue and black will get gold and Silver and white silver but you will have the option to swap if you wish.

How 'bout chrome???

sorry, I had to...although in all seriousness, chrome on black with 5% tint is always a wicked looking combo, but I'm sure I'm in the minority with that opinion.

I too think we should have a choice between colors, but if I were getting white or blue..I'd want the gold color.

As it stands I'm probably getting black(each week it changes), so I hope for gunmetal.

I'll take them off your hands for you and give you some aftermarket..they are not going to be cheap wheels, not if they are BBS and forged..no way.

Just a personal opinion, but gold wheels on a silver car is like wearing gold and silver rings or something.

Blue and black get my vote for gold wheels, but agreeing with the majority, it should be an open-ended option.

white with gold looks sick.

WRB with gold looks sick and is like THE STi color combo.

Black with gold looks sick.

Silver with gold is doable, but gunmetal would be better.

AND....I think gold should be stock on ALL colors, with gunmetal/anthracite as an option @ no extra cost.

Yeah I think we should get the option to chose what color rims we get on any car color.

personally I'd get either white or blue w/ gold wheels. I dont want gunmetal anymore, i had them on my R already.

They should all have gold wheels. Its an STi, it has gold wheels. We asked for an STi, we get an STi.

the people that dont want the big wing or gold wheels need to find another car

Agreed. We finally get this awesome vehicle we all have been drooling over for years to get and now everyone's being so picky about it. I don't know about everyone. No wing, no gold, heck it's not an STi then, STi's are known for a little more flash.

My best pics are gold on silver and gold on blue.

Well, I'm sure everyone has gotten their STi survey e-mail which asks what your favorite color combo will be. The color offerings are no surprise, but the black is not the black topaz mica, it is java black or something.
Too bad they didn't show pictures of the whole car.

Here is a link to the picture of the silver wheel. http://www.subaru.com/misc/stiSurvey/silver.htm

Thats just ridiculous.

Gold wheels are not for everyone.

Want lots of tickets in two months? go WRB with gold wheels.
