Very nice. Too bad Subaru won't mount the boost gauge on the pillar.

Too bad Mitsu doesn't give us a boost gauge at all!

I think the silver looks pretty sharp. IMHO...the Brembos get lost in the gold wheels.

Ditto!

Last week I saw a fellow members STi IRL (B.J.'s @ Fair Oaks, VA meet) in Blue/silver and trust me the pics do it no justice.

The Blue/silver color combo is subdued but authoritative as opposed to the Blue/gold 'hey look at me, I'm a WRC car' message.

Kind of like wearing a loose but well fitting silk overshirt ala 'Furio' from the Soprano's rather than the oh so obvious and played out 'wife beater' t-shirt.

In one guise you'll look as though you might kick some a$$ but you also might be a kids soccer coach. While the other just reminds folks of 'Kid Rock' and Clearasil.

To each there own...

Congrats DVTURK!!!

The blue color seems to vary a lot . . . maybe it's due to the camera picture quality.

This blue is nice and dark
The other blues seem to be really light.

I've seen the same effect.
I suspect its due to different lighting, angles, camera DPI settings, picture resolution, etc.

The Blue/silver I saw IRL had a good depth to it (for a Subaru paintjob) and I saw no evidence of 'orange peel' effect. The silver rims are semi-subdued against the blue bringing focus of the eye against the contrasting low profile tire section and the gold Brembo calipers. It all ties together nicely.

I've seen the Gold rims and they along with the calipers tend to remind me of the wagonwheels from 'Honeycomb' cereal.
Not bad, not good, just very obvious.

I'm hoping for Silver/silver and will purchase a set of anthracite (dark grey/light black) rims for summer use.

I guess I'm going to have to get another license plate frame. The cursive paul brothers doesn't look that good. Man I so want to go get my car today.
