Does anyone know of a good place to have springs installed. What is a reasonable price?

Network Alignment & Brakes, 12639 N. Cave Creek Rd. Talk to Scott. They do good work, and have worked on many cars from the AZ club.

Reasonable prices range from $175-$250 or so. Those prices include the alignment. Network did my wagon as well as my last 4 vehicles. I am extremely happy with their work and recommend them highly.

Thanks guys! The quotes that I am getting are $250+. That seems a little high but I don't know.

I know a real cheap place: your own garage. It costs about 4-5 hours and a little sweat. (OK, a lot of sweat this time of year.) You can rent a spring compressor from Checker Auto for free. (You "buy" it when you pick it up and if you return it in working order within 48 hours they fully refund your money.) It's heavy work, but not really all that difficult.

Then, go to Network to get an alignment.

I've pulled my struts at least twice a month the past 3 months . Installing KYB struts and Eibach springs . Let me know when you want to do it and we can work in my garage . Shoot maybe we can make a club install meet out of it .

I might be interested in this too, actually! I haven't bought any springs yet... still shopping around... and saving some money. But hopefully in the next month or so???

I will also be installing springs soon, and doing it myself. Count me in if you get a install day together. Can even use my garage, but it is way up by Cave Creek.

Yeah, I just put my old RS struts on the wife's Legacy GT last weekend. (That's my 3rd or 4th strut/spring swap within the last year.) I'm thinking about putting the KYB's on the RS with the P1 springs just to see if I can make it a little less harsh on the road and still enjoy the handling at the autocross. I might just join your install day.

BTW: Anybody want a set of Tien-soft lowering springs cheap?

if you guys want we can do it this sat . My Garage is your garage per say . Hey bud since the tools and bodys will be out wanna come on over and try the KYB s . You wont be dissapointed . If you want you can give my car a test drive with diff settings to see wat the range is . Let me know so I can post directions . Aww heck just post If you plan on showing up . We can work out a BBQ or something . safeway is just around the corner . the easiest way to my place is to take I-10 to 67th ave . head north past Glendale ave , after Glendale ave stay in the left lane you will then turn left onto orangewood then left again onto I think 69th ave then left again . you will see an Island of sorts my house is in the middle . addresse is 6858 W Gardenia ave .

I'm going to Vegas this weekend. Then I'm going on vacation from June 4-9.

The earliest I could do it is June 14th

sorry to say this but I will have to work this sat morning . Mabey we can rescedule . Part of the reason I wanted to do it on sat at my house was because there is a Network Alignment shop around the corner and you could get it aligned asap . Next sat I am out of town poss the sat after ?

Actually I pulled the springs and KYBs off of my wife's car. Some time soon (when I get up the energy to do another suspension swap) I'm going to put them on my car with the P1 springs and see what I can do with the adjustibliity first hand.

I don't really want to do anything this weekend except rest. I've been running at 110% for the last couple of months and I need some recharge time.

A couple of weeks out might be different.

I'm thinking of just attempting it myself tomorrow. Any takers for the morn ? I'll supply lunch and drinks.

I will call Network before I start to get a quote... if its around 150ish I'll just go and get it done.

But 250+ for spring install is BS. Mechanics out here make a grip for a short amount of work. I had my last set of struts and springs put on my other car for $100 at a shop, then $35 for the alignment.

I am off after 3pm Saturday, all day Sunday and Monday. Let me know if any of those days work.

Does anyone want to help me install a pair of 25mm Cobb tuning sway bars on my Forester XT? I have the full instructions from this list. It shouldn't take all that long but it would be nice to have some assistance.
