Default Lovell/Freeman Tribute Sticker Design Chosen

Alright... Subaru chose one of the designs and we worked on it with the designer to get it just how they wanted.

I'll have a firm answer sometime Wednesday or Thursday as to how long we wait, for the families sake, before making these.

Tentatively the decals are going to be 3" x 4.5" in size. And we're planning to charge $10 for a set of 2 shipped. Please keep in mind that every last dime over the cost to get the materials and any printing costs is going to the families left behind. This is not to raise money in any way for the site. I'm really hoping we can give a very sizable donation to both families.

I will let you know as soon as they are available though.

Just out of curiousity, who was the judge and jury in this case? I only ask this because, to put it blunty - unless #4 is retired, this is meaningless. I'm sorry, but I'd rather donate money to their cancer fund.

I'll bet #4 is retired. I can't imagine any racer stepping up and agreeing to race it.

Nick and everyone involved,

This has got be the one of the best shows of what NASIOC is really about. I commend everyone involved.

We truly are a great group of people that occupy some "cyberspace".

some people need to try a little harder with their attention span.

the first line in this post reads "Alright... Subaru chose one of the designs and we worked on it with the designer to get it just how they wanted."

That answers your question Jonn.

Many thanks to everyone involved in putting this tribute together.

Know where I can get a small Union Jack sticker to go along with it? I'd like to have their flag alongside that sticker. I would have actually preferred one of the designs that had it in the sticker... but oh well.

Anybody know where to get a small 3x5 or 4x6 Union Jack sticker?

Thanks John... exaclty... This was Subaru's call on what design was used... so I would have to imagine #4 will be retired and no longer be used in SCCA Pro Rally Events.

Glad to see it became a reality.

The stickers are not my style though, I'd like to donate to the cancer fund instead.

i like it.

yeah there were some better designs out there, but who cares. i would have donated money no matter what the design, the cause is for the families, not proper styling for our cars.

two discos for all those involved and getting this off the ground so quickly

Please... In OT, if the first words aren't "I found something new" or "Hi, I'm a girl", no one bothers to read the post.. they just look and wait for pics

I think this is more to show our support to their families rather than to make our cars look pretty. I'm all for donating money to cancer funds, but the idea behind this is to help support the families left behind. Keep that in mind when making your decision.

Glad to hear that they picked a design..I agree that the color one looks better, but cost wise who knows.

They will be remembered no matter what...

I'm in for a couple of set also. Losing just one person is bad enough, but two at the same time, tragic.
