Default Vishnu up-pipe dyno results

I've had the up-pipe in for I think two weeks...with about 300 miles of driving I think. Whatever, anyway enough to let the ECU "adjust" itself I think. Thanks to Dwight the GMK for the install (which was an experience). I have a lot of "I thinks" because my new job is making me lose track of the days.

So I went to FIS today to do a couple of pulls.

Baseline when the car had roughly 3000 miles on it and bone stock.
188.4 hp at 5750
198.6 ft-lbs at 3750

With up-pipe (only change) at about 6000 miles
201.2 hp at 5750
204.4 ft-lbs at 3750

So nice improvements all around. I don't have a scanner otherwise I'd post the curves. Probably a little bit of engine settling in still too, so the actual gain may not be as much it seems, but still nice.

Anyway, as for the subjective improvement it is pretty noticeable since I was starting out skeptic. Mostly more responsive engine with quicker spooling turbo. Not as much waiting for the turbo to spin up. Nice change overall.

Definitely recommended change at least for the Vishnu pipe.

Thumbs up

Very good #s. It must be the guy who installed the up-pipe!! HA HA HA. Now all you need is a GMK muffler to carry that HP to past the 6000 rpm zone. Dwight
