Default 2015 WRX seats????

could anyone tell me if the lumber area of 15' WRX seats (either cloth or leather) have MORE natural lumbar curve to them than say, the 11'-14' models?

On my 11' WRX there was ZERO lumbar curve in seat and that area of seat was quite flat and with my bad low back it hurt everytime

I know the 15 models have better bolstering but that makes no difference for me. asking specifically about lumbar area of seats........

thanks

I too have a bum back. I cannot compare the seats to earlier models. What I can tell you, I bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, and the drivers seat had the adjustable lumbar. I could not get comfortable and my back would start to hurt in 20 minutes. I once took the wife to the airport in it, and the drive there and back was about an hour and a half. I was dying by the time I got home. I had the Jeep for 8 months, and I only put 1300 miles on it. When my WRX came in, I gave the Jeep to my son who lives at 8500 feet in Colorado. He's digging it.
The new WRX...I put 180 miles on it the first day. All I can say, is the seat is so comfortable, it's like a vagina for your back.

Well where is the general 2015 thread though? There needs to be a main 2015 chat thread

You could use this one:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2623235

Or the 2014 vs. 2015 thread.

Better yet, you could post your questions about the interior in the damn interior forums.

Why are all the '15 guys ignoring all the sub-forums and starting new threads in the general the second they want to know the interval between turn signal flashes?

It is a pretty sweet ride. Although, if we're honest, the seats suck.

Still amazing Subaru hasn't put a good seat in a WRX since '03.

Because this is getting ridiculous. What the hell is wrong with all you people?

There are countless subforums for a reason. The OT is the general's trash can. The general is not idiotic '15 owners' trash can.

You're the only one complaining here, is it insane how many threads there are for 2015 models? maybe. But its the new car, there are new forum users and there's going to be a lot of questions asked for a long time. You should know this if you been on any type of car forum for awhile now.

So what subforum would you post a question about the seats on?

The interior subforum, or the Impreza subforum, or...and here's a really humdinger...how about NOT making a new thread and just posting a question in one of the other countless '15 WRX threads?

Surely you're not suggesting a forum meant for general subaru topics relevant to the entire community is the place where you should make a new thread asking about the god damn lumbar support...

The only interior subforum I see says it is for questions on exterior/interior modification. So if you post about how comfortable the seats are in there someone will yell at you to post it in the general forum.

What kind of bed do you sleep on? Tempurpedic? Spring? Pillowtop? Do you use a box spring or no?
Do you like leather seats? I don't.

What kind of motorcycle do you ride? Because I could never get comfortable on the GSXR. My buddy did though.

The OP is asking about how comfortable the seats are. How on god's green earth are we supposed to be able to answer that. We are not him. He is not we. He needs to go to a dealer (like the one I linked him to) and sit in the damned car.

Sure, he should sit in the car but I cannot imagine getting this upset because someone asked how the lumbar support is to people who may have already driven thousands of miles in their 2015.

It might just be possible that the seat feels great for the five minutes you get to sit at it at the dealer while the car is not moving, and might feel totally different after an 8 hour road trip. Ya think???

Some of you guys must be a joy to workaround all day..
