![]() seems like we have one every other day, so here's a list of them all in one place.

![]() this is a small part of learning how this site works. it took me 15 minutes to put this together. if we can stop the constant stream of threads asking the same question, it's time well spent.

![]() All those shops do more than just tunes.
Maybe title it one stop performance subaru shops? I get calls all the time where people dont even know we sell or install parts lol. They think all we do is tune cars and build engines ![]() |

![]() ^^so the problem is lack of updating, not lack of a thread? We need to update threads like this substantially more than we do. Currently the "READ ME FIRST" sticky is out of date and has links to dead/deleted threads....that isn't right. Hell, even the calender is from 2009....

![]() Agreed.
Basically if its a "sticky" it should be updated regularly. where is the omnipresent mod who should be slappin down the hammer on a slacker OP author of the sticky? |

![]() to me the "vendor" forum is a logical place for people to look for sales/service/tunes. And the vendors who rely on the site keep there own threads current.
If I was a paying vendor, it would no doubt annoy me having a sticky clearly displaying where else they can go. General discussion and word of mouth is plenty for sharing info on the wealth of other non vendor/quality businesses in the area. Personally, I'm simply a proponent of politely answering the newbie threads. No need to bust out the search hammer or it's been covered BS that is even more annoying than the goddam newbie thread to begin with. Remember you don't have to respond to every thread. Cartman, A+ for a genuine attempt at improving the NWIC though, thats like a breath of fresh air from some of your history LOL ![]() |

the only business on there that is not a vendor here as far as i know of is PIA. in the other thread it seemed for almost every listing, the business had either changed names, changed locations, or gone out of business completely. |

![]() agreed, but frankly it's needed. the OT bantor/bs fs adds, and not following long standing rules is more annoying than newbie threads asking where to get a tune or a rebuild.
I don't feel mods should have to update threads. I said this yesterday in another thread but it would be great if the regulars would try a bit harder to be welcoming, and helpful for the newer members of the community. Paying vendors should get newbie business and again, we have a vendor forum. Once you are no longer a newbie, you'll have an idea about more options on where to spend your hard earned money. All the local shops have plenty of cheerleaders to get the word out. Leave it at that. |
