First off, Sandblast was moved a full month to the first weekend in March. This allows the weather to (hopefully) be better - better for the volunteers and better for the spectators!

I'll be there competing in the #2 Dirty Rallysport WRX. Car will have a new engine and a fresh tune. Can't wait!

http://sandblastrally.com for more info (as it's available).

Pointless garbage, hah. I am simply asking who is interested in going, yes I look for work daily. But there is only so many sites you can look on locally, until you exhaust your search.
Now, that said.. Anyone interested in going? the economy has affected us all, I am simply asking who is interested. This being a subaru club I figured a rally centered question would be good to ask. pointless garbage, hardly.

So, Tim.. this was the first Sandblast I've been to (and I've been every year for 7 years) with snow falling before the Parc Exposé. It was chilly.

Yeah we got to the start of SS1 and saw a few lonely flakes floating around. Honestly, it was the perfect temperature to be in the car all day. It can get hot in there quick wearing safety gear.

Thanks to everyone who came out to volunteer or cheer on the racers. We had a great time!

Send all your pics of the #55 Impreza coupe my way when they are ready!

Thanks, and congratulations to you guys.

And Meegan's photos were awesome.

We were the car with the crazy horn-blowing co-driver. Looks like that's what she was doing in that photo. Same place you were last year, right? Hunter Pond Wire Rd?

Yeah I think so, it may not have the ground clearence but it has awd. good driving and awd may get you where you want to go. the spectator areas should be reachable by a road car.

I'm sorry but after going last year there is no way a gtr could make it to some of the spots. Just too low

I let a friend borrow my Fit Sport, he didn't have any troubles getting around. I still wouldn't bring my GTR out, lol.

working is even better, choose a good spot. bring lotsa food, you will need it. And you can drive on the stages, what better for a subie? Some freinds n a honda civic joined us, and they got around fine, other than they hit t he gas alot and made mad ruts.

Default rally x

Wilson north carolina rally x site, does not rut too badly usually.. A little rough, but I bring my stock wrx 2005 out all the time.. It is fine with it, actually alot of fun to rally a subie.. any other awd car i think would be fine, gtr might be a animal because so much power, but put mud flaps on it, and come see.

sandblast stages can rut up big time, the worker stations can be tough to reach without bottoming out, i often bottom out the subie, but i am hauling alot of stuff with me too.. So that weighs it down some, and two people who are adults. But hte spectator areas should be fine. Just park where oyu can and walk if you need to.

Everything is under lock and key since it's a managed state forest.

You will want to go to the website to get the info on how to spectate.
