do you mean, how do you get the alarm to arm, while the car is still running with the TT??
Because, I had to modify my civic to do that. all you have to do is find the wire at the key, that turns off with the key out. then supply that as the switched to the alarm, rather than the switched it is getting (that stays on while the car is still running) does that make any sense?? |

thats what Im talking about!!
it doesnt think you are in the car, it thinks that the car is still ON, which it is, otherwise you would be able to arm your car while you are driving.... |

I installed a HKS TT Type1 a few weeks back. http://i-club.com/forums/showthread....threadid=99447 The TT had a wire go to the E-brake just for this reason..... I wasn't sure at the time, but basically the TT does not kick in unless the E-brake is up. I turned off my car couple times accidentally with the E-brake down and the car just turns off. When the E-brake is up, the TT leaves the car running. I Cut the 2 wires to the security & remote entry and I'm able to just turn my car off and walk away and arm the Alarm now. REDOO2000 I'm not sure how this would work with an aftermarket alarm. I guess it depends on the alarm itself. Can the alarm installers help you with this? |
