Depending on you piping it can be a little tight access but far from impossible with the engine in.

It's not the most fun, but I've worked in tighter quarters.

so i'm thinking about doing this on a stock location turbo. anyone know if the fitting coming out of the p/s pump will interfere with my turbo inlet hose?
also, i cant seem to find the 14x1.5 to -6an banjo bolt setup on summit...i'm assuming this is the size i need? anyone know where to get one? |

ok, I took my stock lines to a local hydrolic shop and had them fab me up some custom hoses.
Hoses look good and should work, plus it was only about $70 . On a side note the hydrolic shop found and inline restrictor and placed it into the new hose. |

Unfortunately, I think it will interfere with the turbo inlet hose. I don't think it's tall enough to make it over the inlet hose.

Darn. Just popped the hose out of the fitting. I guess my first attempt at assembling hoses is a bust. I don't suppose anyone knows a place to by pre-assembled, flexible power steering lines with crimped -6 AN fittings? Otherwise attempt number two seems imminent, after I buy more hose.

Only problem is, the hose is black rubber and the fittings are usually a goldish anodized color. Not quite as bling. Sorry |

I'm guessing everything is the same. I think the PS racks are different between the WRX and STI, but I don't see Subaru going through the trouble to make the thread pitch and fittings different.
