Protective Plastic Film
Has anyone tried that clear plastic film they sell to put on your lower body panels to prevent stone chips? I'm interested in applying it to my headlights and fog lights to help keep them from chipping and cracking, but I don't want to pay the $15 to find out the stuff doesn't stick, or isn't clear enough for headlights, etc. Anyone here have any experience with the stuff?

I just put the 3mm high strength adhesive clear film on the edge of my hood and I have some extra, I will try it tonight.

If you're referring to 3M Clear Bra material; it was originally designed for "Desert Storm" Hummer windshields. It will stick to glass, just don't put it on your's, remember you don't need wiper in the desert.

that stuff would probably be great to get rid of the scratches caused by ski racks, I wonder how hard it would be to apply to my whole roof, the whole thing get's f'd up every time I go mountain biking
