Default Rebuilding ej20 ej25 hybrid swap

Hello I purchased a bug eye a while back which blew on me within a few days. It is a ej20 --> ej25 hybrid swap. Its rod knocking. I'm planning on going with a rebuild kit which includes manley rods, manley pistons, king rod bearings, and king main bearings.

I just have a few questions what else I need. I've read around to use cometic or cosworth head gaskets.

What else do I need?

Thanks in advance!

It all depends on how much power your looking for vs how you want to use the car. Personally I'd start a conversation with your tuner and machine shop. Talk to them about how you want to use the car and answer their questions honestly. That's how you'll get the most for your money. And however much you think it's going to cost, set aside an extra $2k for everything you didn't plan on.

Last, what trans are you using?
