Default 15 WRX brake pad/ rotors

Hey guys my car just hit 80k and its time to change the brakes on my car. I've never had to do any brake work since I bought the car but the recently started to squeak so it was time to change them. I was just going to replace the pads and rotors to get it over with but are the rotors necessary? I know which brake pads I want but I have not been able to find any info on the rotors. I want blank rotors and some people just say any blank rotors will do and other say get high end one. Any recommendations for blank rotors? Car is my DD, sees spirited driving and like one or two canyon runs a year lol. Thanks in advance.

Go for cheap blank rotors. If you have not had any problems with the originals, any decent replacement will do fine. NAPA basic rotors have served me well on many vehicles for a lot of years. Just make sure to bed the new pads with the new rotors and you will be all set.

Centric rotors are budget-friendly, and I've even used their basic (non-cryo) 120 series rotors for track days (on the Mustang). A small step up might be Stoptech's slotted rotors (not the drilled ones), which are currently on sale at Tire Rack. Slots tend to resist scoring better, if that matters to you.

Note that no matter whose rotors you end up looking at, there are two different part numbers for the rear rotors, depending on whether your car has the 'Eyesight' option or not.
