Reputable Subie Mechanic in Central Mass
Let me preface the whole thread with I am _NOT_ looking for a tuning shop like DSG, just an independent mechanic that knows his way around scoobies and has nothing but good feedback from you guys.
I bought an old Legacy as a daily last week and am looking for a reputable mechanic that can change stuff out like the alternator, starter, fuel pump, struts, or whatever when these things require replacement. I would prefer the shop to be in Marlborough or an adjacent town. Metrowest is ok, but definitely nowhere outside that. I figured if anyone would know a good mechanic with subie experience, you guys would. So, any suggestions?

Does Dentsport do standard maintenance stuff (as described in your OP)? If so, I think they know their way around Scooby Doo's and might be able to help. Oh, look at that, they're in this thread!
Hey Mr. Dentsport, do you guys do standard mechanical stuff outside of your performance tuning work? |

Reputable Subie Mechanic in Central Mass
I realize i'm replying to an old thread but, I too am looking for a reputable shop in the Marlborough area. I'm approaching 200k and due for T-belt and WP service on a 2.5. I don't need a tuner or hot rod shop (not yet), just a good old Subaru Repair shop that comes with a recommendation.

Lamy Auto is a great place on Northborough Marlborough line. Kevin is straight up guy and knows his way around most anything or will point you to someone who does.
