We need a sticky

Just about every other topic has a sticky with links and how-to info. I'm sure everyone is familiar with unabombers stickies on NASIOC. We need either unabomber or detailersdomain or someone with experience to make a good sticky.
Things I'd like to have in that thread are:
Product links
Product reviews
Do's and Don'ts
How-to's
And maybe a few key links that are in this forum that are pertinent to detailing.

Please help.

Seems like we need more than a sticky. We probably need an extra moderator for this section.

If someone's willing to compile stuff from the old threads and cite who they're from, it'll probably get made into a sticky if moderators are checking this section out.

Started the product links
Product reviews could be a bit large. That would be better served if people would just start a thread with their review of a product. Searching would be simple enough for that.
The others can certainly happen it just takes a considerable amount of time to properly write how-tos and writeups. There are a lot of resources out their already that can be pointed to. I'll see what I can come up with.

Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a good sticky? One wouldn't have to put the whole review in the sticky, just a summary and a link would suffice.

Perhaps, but even the detailing forums don't have stickys for each review of a product. That would get messy I think. A summary would be ok I suppose but to do the product justice and to really inform people you would need more than a summary and a link.

.....that would be my vote. Some of the sites listed already have very good tutorials and a much larger pool of froum members/history discussing topics relating to detailing exclusively. I think trying to re-establish that here would be like re-inventing the wheel.

......for information regarding Subarus, I come here. ......for detailing questions, I go to some of the sites Tex listed.
