I would also be happy to help with a part # thread, but what will the focus be? Regular items or really hard to find items? I have all the OEM part #'s for any USDM Subaru and some JDM stuff. How about a list of requested part#'s ?

I think it should be limited to hard to find / JDM items, as OEM part numbers are very easy to come by.

I say hard to find JDM parts, and then frequently needed OEM parts, like timing belts, headgaskets, exhaust gaskets.

Maybe some performance stuff for swapped people, but that technically isnt for a legacy. H6 rear brake or wrx/05 LGT brake parts.

That was my intention with the thread. I agree a number of frequently replaced OEM parts are easy to find (part number wise) but this just makes it easier by centralizing them all in one thread. That way instead of searching through tons of threads trying to find a “tie-rod end” you simply search one thread and all its posts…

A common thread like this also allows people to post "wanted part numbers" within the thread for others to hopefully answer...

Can you link some of your preferred OEM lookup sources?

Not too long ago, I had a hell of a time finding the part number for the metal backing plate onto which the hatch handle mounts on the back of a wagon...

I'll gladly sticky a part number thread if there's a genuine effort to put one together. This one, however, fails

I think if we could have that partsbook x-treme link added to the main FAQ thread that would be good!
