Talking Funny thing happened at a party recently

So I've been trolling this board recently while I was thinking about buying a WRX. Really didn't require that much thought...
but anyhow.

So I buy the car two weeks ago, pick it up one week ago and I'm loving it. I register on the board but don't make any posts... thought about going to the RI meet, but the girlfriend objected since it was "too far to drive your new car"

So Saturday night I goto my freinds house at UMASS for a party. I'm there for 20 minutes and this guy walks in the door... before anyone says Hi to him he says "Who's WRX is that outside" and walks outside. I wander out... and outside are 2 Silver RS's, and about 6 guys drooling over my car.

They had just come back from the RI meet. One of them introduces himself as "Fishguy"... he says he's god on this internet board I have to join.

Well anyhow guys, I think we pissed the crap out of the rest of the partygoers since we talked about cars the whole time... loudly... in front of the TV... while drinking... They didn't need to see the NCAA game anyhow...

Oh well... had a great time. Next meet I'm definintly there.

Yeah it was great after a day of driving, from Burlington to RI with a line of Subaru's and then to Belchertown. We turn the corner at my friends house and what do we see? Ah yes a WRX, Nice to meet you Brian, and hopefully, for your own good, you'll get rid of the Neon.

BTW, that was kind of rude of my to walk in like that and just leave huh? Maybe that explains the lack of girlfriend... Oops

Besides being a disposable car my 98 Neon R/T rocked... at least I like to tell myself that every chance I get.

Next party he has he'll have a band playing out on the front lawn... it'll be warmer... during the day... and right down the street from UMASS.

What better place to find a girl huh MikeyB?

And Hopefully there will be girls to meet at the next party?

As for Jimmy Jamma, you'll get yours.. and Chuckles where do I start, I was tired and in the morning I woke up and felt refreshed, every time you go to bed you don't wake up to a painted wing do you?

I was the OBX kid asking you neon questions... I had a huge smile on my face when I saw the wrx, and it was cool that you were already onto the club. I'm sure were bound to sooner or later run into someone who we just out and out scare.

And you'll Find Jimmy Jamma tucked away in the corner trying not to talk to people, especially girls that he doesn't know.
So brian are you promising girls for the one?
Any one?

well, yeah, it seemed to be more an extension of the meet, as we didn't seem to veer to far from our own at the party

Yeah I plan on making the Bristol Auto-X, won't be running my REX seeing as how I haven't even broken 1k yet, but soon... very soon.

Not promising girls for the next party up there, but after going to the school for a few years I'm sure we can seed the invitation list a bit better than it was at the last party. If I'm not mistaken one of you guys actully got outright TOLD to stop talking about cars by a girl... think you knew her though.

My old roomate is now dating the activity Director for Smith College... I'll have to mention the next party date to him.
