Im going to pick up the xxr 527s in 18x9.75. Im looking for a mild streched all season tire for my 09 STI. I have rolled fenders as well.

Im thinking a 235x40x18.

if your looking for a mild stretch you can go with 235/35/18. 40 would be a little too meaty and you will more then likely rub. are you on springs or coils or stock suspension? i am on springs and when i had my wheels on i didnt have issues with rubbing unless i had someone sitting in the back seat and then i would rub on dips

20 offset im guessing? You will need coils with front camber plates. Your gonna need some good camber in the rear no matter what size tire you run. Or it will look nasty. Since we cant use camber plates in the rear, you definitely need a set of rear adjustable LCA's to get that wheel in enough. Also a flat roll on the rear fenders for sure.

Here is a pic of mine with that same setup minus rear LCA's. It looks ugly without bringing that wheel in. I had 235/40's and it didn't rub at all with a flat roll in the rear. Try not to roll the front if you haven't yet. If you have camber plates, you will be fine.

Setup looks good NWsubie.

Just curious, what time period are you guys keeping these wheels for? I had mine for around 6 months and they lasted just find. Anybody else have "long term" results?

What is mild stretch? I am on 245/40 General GMAX As03's on 18x9.5 and that's enough stretch for me.

I'll get a pic up when I get home later.

245 or 255 will provide a mild stretch on a 9.75

I agree, 245 on a 9.5 is enough stretch for me.

Thanks. I didn't like it though. Had I had the flow for LCA's, I might still be rolling them. Or at least those specs still. The paint tents to get flakey after 6-8 months.

I have been through soo many of these pages and searched around but I can't seem to find a 11+ wrb wrx with white xxr 530's or the black and chrome 531's. I am looking to get one or the other after I graduate tech school but don't know which ones would look better. Ill be lowered on epic springs.

Haha my friend just just fit back from there and she said there was good people there but it is what you make of it.

Anyways back on topic. Putting in an order of white xxr 530's 18x8.75 +33 with 245/40/18 federal cheapo ss595 unless someone knows somebody that sells white xxrs that does decent package deals: decent being under $1500 I really want hankook Ventura v12's

Not to sound cheap or anything but eBay has a wholesale seller who sells white xxrs for $580 with free shipping. If that helps?

FYI: that's not the only size they got.. Just look up xxr 530 white and there is a handful.

I guess it helps to not be a junior airman.

I enjoyed my visit. It was a decent place to relax with family. I'm from Texas, so I'm biased.

595s are great, I love them and have run them multiple times.

Anyone got a 2009+ FXT with XXRs, or any aftermarket wheels? I'm curious what it looks like and what size to get.
