Question What about the new rays Gram lites?

How about those new wheels by Rays Engineering? the gram lites are a nice inexpensive lightweight wheel.

IMO, SSR looks kinda generic and remind me too much of stock rims. They are still my choice rims because of their excellent weight, i'd just have to get them in gold

oh well, money better spent on other things

Just a question, what do the Model 7 Advans weigh?

If you want light, get yourself some 18" RS Watanbe Cyclones. Forged Magnesium/Boralyn alloy, and a scant 14.1 lbs in our offset.

Model 7s weigh over 20 lbs. Andrew go to www.volkracing.co.jp Volk has a subsidiary named Versus who makes a light weight Model 7 wheel in gold that is forged and is only about $350-400 per rim and comes in our bolt pattern. I will try to post a pic.

Yes they're 18's. But they are available in 16-19" and are $300 per wheel for 17" i think. They are not super light but are forged, and probably weigh about 18-19 lbs.

That is an awful lot for a single piece forged wheel. There are good cast wheels that weigh that.
