I love both bikes and F1, among other things. Knowing how fast bikes are ( 1000cc ,) it puts a real perspective on just how fast F1 cars really are. WOW !!

Tip, try and find Fifth gear on torrent sites, this was shown earlier this season, and a lot of other videos are reposts from the series, its really a great show.

I love that video. The start up test is a nerds dream. Try looking for an old Top Gear video that has a Ford Cosworth F1 , a Focus WRC car and a Cougar racing around a track. they give the Cougar a 2 min head start.

I was amazed at Button's finessing of the throttle after he lost traction control. And shocked when i saw how the amazingly stick tire on the bike, wouldn't be surprised if that was a motogp spec'd tire. Sweet video indeed, I figured all of us F1 nuts would like it.

Too bad they didn't run against an unlimited hydroplane (loved the Gold Cup races on the Detroit River as a kid) whick average laps of 170+mph.

Cool, it looked like Button was toying with the bike, but it was just cause he couldn't use full throttle. The rate that he pulled away from the bike was very impressive.

Similar one with Mercedes road cars vs an F1 car - it really puts it into perspective when you can see F1 cars demolishing what would be a 'fast' street car.

Of course they're made to launch, they use a standing start. How many places do Renault usually gain on the start? at least 2 usually.

I would say more than that. I think their starts are so dominating that people are suspecting them of cheating.
