Default The Official Girl Hit My Car Thread

Just happened to me this morning, around White Oak on 650 South. Little Vietnamese bio student scraped the rear bumper on my 04 PSM STi while trying to change lanes at a stop light.
I almost gave her the finger out of instinct, but then i noticed i had my pointer and middle finger up at the same time....i bet that looked weird! lol

Anyway, scratched through the paint, but it doesn't look like it popped any clips or anything. Just got through talking with her insurance co. I'll try to look behind the bumper to make sure there is no further damage. They are going to send an appraiser out. Her company, Liberty Mutual, was trying to get me to go to a body shop of thier choosing, but I was like "No, I'm going to choose".

This is the second time a girl has rear ended me while driving a subaru. The last subaru turned into my project car.

She thought you were going to give her a half-assed shocker.

Toyota Corolla. I would have been 10x more furious if it was a minivan or suv. There's a reason The Club has finger grips on it.

I was expecting a completely different story when I read the title. I thought that some girl you knew intentionally hit your car. I had my ex-gf kick the **** out of my door in the middle of a huge argument and was expecting your story to be something like that.

Unhappy

I hit it in my car with a girl.... what?....

I got rear-ended by a girl in my old 1980 Chevy Citation once, in college (like 1997). Big chrome bumper, no damage. The bumper on her Civic was pretty torn up.

I got rear-ended by an old lady in my 1988 Civic wagon. That was much worse. Car was totaled - shortened by a about a foot.

My wife, two of her sisters and I were in a family member's '80s Ford Escort, driving back to their house after a wedding. Some daft girl runs right through a stop sign, like it wasn't even there. Clipped the rear end.

*sigh*

My wife T-boned an old lady who ran a stop sign, she "fell asleep." (Uh-huh. Then get off the road. Christine had her headset on, talking to me (I heard her scream ) she was on the way to Boston to work (where we used) to live in NH). She hit the lady and Christine's Cavalier went 270-degrees around, then rear-ended into a signpost. Thank God she was mostly okay. The old lady didn't have her belt on, she got tossed to the passenger seat and fractured I think her clavicle.

If she'd been a tenth of a second or so further ahead..... the lady would have T-boned HER instead. And............... I don't even want to think about it.

=S2=

Dude it’s just a bumper scuff. Be glad you don’t live in DC or some place where your bumper gets hit like every day .
Sorry But I fix bumpers all day long and I think I’ve seen about as bad as it gets. Make sure that your bumper is not whacked out of shape because if it is have that Body shop get you a new one not just a repaint.
