Default Anyone know what years/models the Legacy (wagon?) came w/ a twin scroll TD04?

Figure I better come to the experts for this one Someone posted up in 2.0 engine that he received one of these twin scroll (TD04) turbos (along w/ the manifolds/downpipe), but doesn't really know exactly what it came out of.

Someone thought the jdm/edm Legacy wagons (maybe the automatics).

I'm trying to chase down exact years/models/equipment (ie auto) that would have this turbo setup.

This turbo is purported to make 15 psi at 2400 rpms

TIA

the only twin scroll on a legacy i Know of was the most recent VF38, what is the turbo model? They switched from twin turbo to a twin scroll turbo a couple years ago, I believe it was the one with some titanium components? Man I am getting old I used to have all that info memorized...

It should be both auto and manual, I would say 03+?

I've read some on the vf series titanium one-sounds like a nice setup, this one supposedly is a Mitsu TD04 variant-guy posted pics in the 2.0 forum, but he is unsure what it came off .

StevieD (jdmpartstx.com) said he had a setup like that come through his shop some time ago, thought it was off L wagon auto (jdm).

yes, it is a twinscroll TD04L. Was pretty small... looked ~ same size as the WRX turbo, only it had a larger exhaust housing area.

Yup- a vf series I think. I think this TD04 variant predates the very newest (titanium) ones or possibly just goes into certain model (autos?)

The TD04 one will spool insanely quick- 15+ psi at 2400 rpms This would be an autoxer's dream.

The vf one is a little bigger turbo if I'm not mistaken and while quick I don't think as quick as the TD04 (probably more $ too- guessing).
