Just a plain leather fob with the key. I keep all vehicle keys solo to minimize wear on keyswitch and cosmetics.

The remote stays with me, so I can't lock the key and remote in the car.

Did that the first hour I owned the car......door closed, both remotes and 3 keys sitting on the drivers seat, windows up........
That's smart. I have a spare D-shaped Petzl carabiner that I could use for that.

I do basically the same thing. All my work pants have a mini pocket sewn inside the right front pocket, I assume for change, and my fob fits perfectly inside it. My car keys stay in the car when I'm at work and my work keys stay in the car when I'm at home. I used to always forget my work keys at home, this has helped greatly

I have since converted my spare key into a switchblade key. So now, I don't have anything on my key ring as I currently use my switchblade as my main.

I used to have a ton of stuff on my keychain until I saw a news report about what you're saying. Now I just have my car key and my house key. I don't think one extra key will do too much wear and it's more convenient for me than keeping them separate. Those are literally the only two keys I own.

For all you guys with a ton of stuff on your keychains, where do you hold/keep it when you go out? Does it fit in your pants pockets fine? You guys use fanny packs or anything?

I have too many keys, but I keep them all together because I’ll forget to grab different sets when I need them.

They fit okay in most of my jeans pockets, but my work pants are Dickies jeans. The pockets on them are stupid. Can’t hardly get my hands in them but any change you have in them falls out when you lay down on a creeper. So they usually are clipped to a belt loop or hanging on my toolbox when at work.

Clip to attach to my backback/beltloop. Subaru Key, mailbox key, desk key for work, house key. I keep my wifes car key on a seperate key ring that I only take if needed. Soon I will have a remote start fob. Lastly a remove before flight lanyard as I am an aircraft maintainer.

My Keychain was the weight of a solid gold bar, but it is just a simple keytag of STI and a lanyard.

There are a lot of sites like this now. Many people want to have individual things or something that others don't have. That's why there are sites like this. Everyone wants to stand out. In your case - you can buy a custom photo keychain. But as a gift, I suggest you buy a keychain with a photo to order with engraved name or date with an important event. I gave my boyfriend for 4 years of our relationship such a keychain. If you want to make a gift, it is better to buy a custom one. I'm sure he or she will really like it. I hope I was able to help you in some way.

Fob and house key...that's it. I keep separate keyrings for each vehicle (each with a house key or related keys...like my truck key ring has an added key for the truck box, etc).

One ring for each purpose.

Just the key, fobb and key for my club.

I used to run a fairly heavy WRX key-chain but I moved it to my house-key chain to reduce ignition wear.
